DJ MV -  Electro and Techno Bass Vinyl Mix

Techno tape 1997.  I actually rejected this tape side as "not good enough" and didn't release it. I think my issue was that I had a hard time finding a track to get out of the Damon Wild remix of Forklift and felt that I had let it play too long, making for a too hasty mix with like 1/8" of grooves left.  Now I think the Forklift rmx is pretty interesting at the end, and I made a good "save" out of it.  I think the last 20 minutes or so is some of the best programming I ever put down on tape.

unreleased techno tape side, recorded in New Haven, CT in 1997

Tracklist is a foggy memory, which is kinda driving me crazy.  I really like to tracklist my tapes.  This one would take me like two hours digging through my discogs, lol. I also don't know why I didn't put this tape out - I got hit by an ugly perfectionism bug in 97.

I tagged what artists I can remember.  First two tracks are Marco Carola from the limited 1000 Records label, followed by something tucked between both Claude Young remixes of Beltram's Start It Up.  Si Begg is next. I can only guess from there, except that records from Sweden, and Surgeon are definitely involved.  Subsounds and Future Frontier, Adam Beyer and Thomas Krome.  The last two tracks are from the Future Frontier and Surgeon.

My first recorded mix with techno.  It's not super clean, it took some time getting used to the monitors at WNHU and I was really nervous.  Acid house and techno of various stripes, mostly hard - Detroit, Chicago, NYC.  Recorded live on WNHU Cybervibe show November 1995, courtesy of hosts James Fusion and Skeet.  There is a break where the cassette changes sides.

I'd like to thank everyone who has listened to my sets from the bottom of my heart.  I have this channel solely to share the music I was and still am so passionate about with other likeminded people, and I sincerely hope that some of you have gotten some enjoyment from it.
