To get your heart beats rising again we are launching our new podcast series as part of Radion Revive.

Our first podcast is with Ici Sans Merci, not only is he our Head of Program but also the founder of AURA and Bastion.

He made this podcast with the AURA energy of the dance floor in mind. Every track will transport you back into the club. 

Dj/producer Ici Sans Merci began his career in 2006 in the underground scene of Amsterdam. Earning his stripes through the illegal raves scene in Amsterdam and throughout the rest of the Netherlands, has allowed him to become the DJ he is today. Ici is renowned for his cross genre dj-sets with still the underground rave vibe in it.

AURA goes back to the era of Warehouse Raves, where the energy of the sound outgrew the industrial buildings they were played in.

Started this game a few months ago (haha read: Laure Croft presents tune raider) and I am super excited to share the recording of the set I played on my first gig. Never recorded anything, so hearing my own set for the first time myself was quite an experience! Also playing this first time on big sound system and having these new types of nerves and adrenaline rushing through my body, lead to some challenging moments during the set. I decided to post it, even though there are some minor mistakes in it, but hey, every game starts at level one. 

Would love to hear what you think of the set, and fyi: I’m a big fan of honest feedback.
