The main character in this song is an ageing  stage actress who is suffering from Alzheimer's Disease or dementia.  I thought it was an interesting angle to come at this subject using a character who is used to switching from acting to real life on a daily basis, and how as her disease progress it would be hard for her to discern between reality and fantasy.  The loss of memory.  Don't know why I wrote this song, just kind of happened.  I know that most of us have had a friend or family member who has dealt with this horrible disease.  I guess I was just trying to touch on that with this song

I Should've Known

Singer/songwriter/guitarist for a long time now.  Over the years I've been in & out of many bands but I've found that I was usually the one who was working the hardest, and who "believed" the most.  The most satisfying part to me was always writing and performing my own tunes.  So here (hear) I am.  I manage to play out a few times a month, either solo or with a percussionist friend.  Hope you enjoy my little observations & meanderings.
