France based producer Mathis Kolkoz (Founder of Cold-Wave band Blind Delon) and singer Paul Brousse (member of Hardcore and Metal bands, Influence Néfaste, Liquid Flesh & Epitaphe) present to you their new project Pudeur on Area Z. “Pudeur”, meaning “delicacy” in French , also synonym for “gentleness” is a perfect incarnation of what this project is not about. The duo draws its influences from Punk-EBM and Black Metal and deliver to the audience a genre which Mathis likes to describe as Black Body Music.

The EP kicks off with its first track “My Mortal Cold” which is very representative of the spirit behind their output. The speed varying from 160 to 175 beats per minute throughout the EP creates a fresh rendering of EBM in a raw, staggering and tenacious manner.

Along with this ep will be a compilation of 4 remixes, which will be rather more dancefloor oriented, by members of the collective and other artists such as: Imperial Black Unit, The Undertakers Tapes in collaboration with Incendie, Chrome Corpse who previously released on Area Z and finally Mind/Matter.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Kujo. “Sense Report” comes off the forthcoming v/a release, Al​-​Ibtihal. out this month on Moroccan imprint Rhadâb. Derived from the Arabic word, Ibtihal, meaning a hard state to reach - a double edged sabre, Al-Ibtihal is an attempt to transcribe this feeling into the physical world through both visual and sonic mediums. The hour long album engulfs the two opposed sides of the same coin, depicted by the A-side and B-side of the tape. The selected artwork captured by the talented Hind Moumou and gracefully edited by Hagen Ebejer portrays as a reminder that the Hand is a strong symbol of protection, most notably in the North-African and Arab culture.The A-side is a collection of electronic rituals where endless evolving drones meet ambient distorded soundscapes. The B-side consists of martial pieces dedicated to War deities, with the introduction of tribal drums and beats. Sonic Groove Experiments is back with the Columbus, OH based artist’s raw, punishing old school influenced EBM and industrial sound. “Blight” comes off the album, The Idle Construct, which features 10 tracks of some of best body music you will hear this year. Artist Matt Auxier has long been involved in the heavier & darker side of music. In the late 90's and into the first two decades of the millennium, he recorded and toured in several bands in the genres of Hardcore Punk, Shoegaze, Triphop and Avant Garde. In 2017 he created 6th Circle as a solo project to focus on his first true musical love from his youthful years, EBM / Industrial music.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere "Northern Sky In '92" by Søulless, the Post-Industrial techno project of Francesco Presotto. “Northern Sky” features 2 tracks that takes the listener into the chaotic world of noise, with macabre ambiences and violent breaks. All the proceeds from this self-release will be donated to the Italian Red Cross for the COVID-19 Emergency.

Søulless - Northern Sky In '92

Exist Palestine brings forward the highly talented local artists and the brightest musical visionaries in the global electronic music scene. Exist seeks to build bridges between international artists, Palestinian sound innovators, the many that have been displaced and musicians who are unable to attend the festival due to politically set restrictions. The lineups consist of artists who participated in Exist Festival 2019 as well as the ones who will be invited to play the next editions.

Exist show no.12 features both members of the duo Feral Rite - Abu Zeinah & Marek Nalikowski.

Abu Zeinah is a Berlin-based music producer and a DJ. Abu was born in Dubai, raised in Warsaw. His Palestinian roots are a huge influence. He is a member of the duo Feral Rite and a part of a DJs and promoters collective Behind The Stage. 
Abu Zeinah’s mixes and productions are inspired by fast driven hypnotic techno. Layers of dense repetitive synth sounds give the illusion of an imaginary alien conversation. The abstract dialogue leads to the unknown. Fictive space created by reoccurring sequences is the core of his alien techno style.
 
Marek Nalikowski is a low-key fixture of Poland’s techno scene as he has been behind the decks since 2012. Half of the duo Feral Rite alongside his friend Abu Zeinah, Marek joined Behind The Stage collective in 2018 and has been involved in the launch of its label. 2020 saw the release of his debut digi EP on BTS titled 'Hack The Fear', backed with remixes from ISNT, Piotr Figiel and Abu Zeinah.
