Still following the same thread: moving forwards whilst looking backwards, continuing the explorations and the excavations to and from Knowhere. Unexpected blends and mash-ups which will hopefully give birth to new ideas for some, inspirations for others. Well, they have for us as we can now turn this page and move on... As you might've guessed by now, this message can be seen as an announcement: a new episode, airing soon on Good Morning Tapes. Je napsaná bizarním neonormalizačním jazykem, argumentuje zjevnými nepravdami a je průhledně manipulační, přesto je třeba brát petici Vyjádření a výzva umělců a kulturní veřejnosti k AVU, CJCH a NG vážně. Je totiž krystalickou ukázkou přemýšlení starší generace umělců, kteří jsou sice vesměs velmi úspěšní a bohatí, ale stejně mají strach z toho, že je někdo ohrožuje a bere jim jejich svobodu. Umění je pro ně stejné jako závodění v bazénu, ženy ničemu nerozumí a mladí lidé jsou indoktrinováni jakousi nebezpečnou ideologií, zatímco oni jsou prostě jen „normální“.

Petici, kterou za týden podepsalo něco málo přes dva tisíce lidí, se v novém vydání Studia Alarm věnovali Magdalena Dušková, Stanislav Biler a Karel Veselý. Je dalším varováním, že starší generace má ve společnosti své páky a když se jim něco nelíbí, nebojí se je použít z pozice autority. Je s nimi lepší mluvit, a nebo jim spíš dát najevo, že do některých věcí by neměli zasahovat? Jak se stalo, že z mladých radikálů vyrostli staří konzervativci? A co s rozložením české společnosti udělá další vychýlení populační křivky?

Morphine Records,YOUTH & Ominira affiliate, Marylou has graced stages at Atonal, Intonal, CTM, and Berghain, and opened for boundary-pushing acts like Senyawa, Actress, and Valentina Magaletti. Her fans include esteemed figures such as Donato Dozzy, Rabih Beaini, DJ Marcelle, Lena Willikens, and more, drawn to her unique sonic narratives that evoke her background in painting, cinema, and soundsystem culture. From organizing Parisian parties to advising in studios and becoming a Rinse France resident, Marylou’s journey has shaped her into a trailblazing artist. Now based in Berlin and a part of this year’s SHAPE+ roster, she’s integral to Morphine Raum’s community, crafting mixes steeped in cinematic, improvisational, and noisy explorations while keeping dance at her heart.

Marylou is an artist of the SHAPE+ platform for innovative music and interdisciplinary art, co-funded by the European Union and Pro Helvetia.

SHAPE+ Broadcast Series 03/25 w/ Marylou

It was quite a long process to figure out where to record the field recordings, in the end it made sense to do it somewhere where we simply felt good and far away from our daily struggles. 

Mugel is based on sounds we collected during our escape to the south of France.

Radio Labe’s first VA compilation features 14 tracks by Czech and Italian emerging artists. The contributors were asked to create an audio track using field recordings from a specific place and attempt to capture the diverse sounds and unique energy and cultural fabric of their surroundings.

The album is a journey through underground streams, offering an unconventional perspective on club music as well as more ambient and atmospheric genres.

Jonas' infinite sunbath

Single “Beach Walks” is an excerpt from Chapter 1 – Sometimes I Think About from GbClifford’s upcoming album Mock the World 2gether.

The song reflects on temporality and temporal imprints, exploring themes of personality shortcuts, self-esteem, and the question of physicality as a means of presence. It delves into unhealthy ways of coping with loneliness and depersonalisation, and the struggle to find a way back to oneself without feeling burned out.
