Tash fuses afro-jazz with up-tempo rhythms ranging from kuduro, gqom to esoteric club sounds. The sets of her colleague, DJ and music producer Mina, are influenced by her preference for Afrobeats, dancehall and UK funky. Her own melodic tracks fuse diverse varieties of syncopated rhythms from around the world.

"This is the first mix where I’m playing tracks outside of the singles [from the album]. So it was created with the idea of introducing the album tracks as part of my regular set rotation. The mix also replicates the journey I attempt to take people on [with my music]. I’ve tried to create an intro that’s welcoming. As you listen further the mood proceeds to darken and the basslines are heavier. You also hear different versions of the album tracks such as acapellas or instrumentals."

His projects include a two year collaboration with Solange Knowles as resident DJ for Saint Heron’s Proclamation dance party series as well as a three year collaboration with DOPEciety as resident DJ and producer for Couches. He is also the founder and co-sound selector for Ascendance, a monthly zodiac themed Afrodiasporic dance party.

Among East Africa's most exciting DJs and a core member of Kampala's Nyege Nyege collective, Kampire’s vibrant bass-heavy sets have transported her to bring the best of Ugandan party culture to clubs & festivals across the world.  Her Boiler Room set from Nyege Nyege festival 2018 was a legitimate ‘internet moment’, with thousands of shares on Facebook leading to serious FOMO from electronic music fans watching online. Then in the midst of a global pandemic, Kampire’s Nyege Nyege 2020 opening ceremony DJ set stood out from the deluge of home DJ broadcasts, filmed on an island in the Nile for the digital edition of the festival, broadcast by Resident Advisor.
