Deep broken beats, IDM & bass influenced chuggers are the theme here, however in her DJ sets she has been known to explore tasteful prog, fast and  higher energy rollers. Looking forward to watch Nak grow and flourish in the Naarm scene over the next while :)

Based in London with roots in Paris, Caroune draws inspiration from the rich creative ecosystems of both cities. “They’re home to so many incredible labels and artists that inspire my music.” she reflects. 

Caroune’s versatile sound blends ambient, downtempo, dub techno, deep techno and drummnbass. Serene and introspective for early hours, deep, darker and energetic for late nights. This mix is her exploration of halftime, drum and bass, and dubstep.

Beyond performance, Caroune’s devotion to music manifests in Osmura, a platform she co-founded to spearhead sonic exploration through podcasts, and curated gatherings. “Osmura allows us to express our love for music and connect with a like-minded audience”. Currently, she is working on Osmura’s first vinyl release, set to debut in January 2025. One of the tracks featured in this mix is part of the upcoming release, offering a glimpse into the creative direction of this project.
