Rubber Works Manchester can confirm that we have reached an agreement in principle with Great Danes for the loan of striker Cone to the Club on 22nd December 2023. The transfer remains subject to the Club finalising terms with the player.

Rubber Works Manchester are delighted to announce the signing of Cone from Great Danes. Cone will join the club on 22nd December after penning a one-week deal which keeps him at the Night de Date Studio until the following Friday. In time for the biggest game of the season - Broken Hearts (A).

He’s the man behind Manchester’s Great Danes, who have had the likes of Fiyadred, Hodge, Oblig, and Konrad Wehrmeister perform at their iconic parties. Cone is a true pioneer of musical selection and the promotion of upcoming artist talent - embodying the spirit of the past, present, and future of Manchester’s and London’s music scene, where he is now based. We will be there, it’s date night.

I've been eff off excited to hear this mix for a while now and LET...ME..TELL..YOU: It did NOT Disappoint. 

I've known this person is a badman selector for a while now, so it was only fair that they brought forth some sonic action to the C4L fam that we are very excited to share WITH YOU! 

We are thrilled to present DJ SHAKE A LEG as our first official mix of 2024. A proud member of the Ngemba Mob, from Brewarrina, SHAKE A LEG has most certainly got it. When you hear this mix you will understand what I mean when I say 'IT'. 

I had the pleasure of pumping this as I was driving past the BIG FUCKING BANANA. I was thrashing in my car and showing off to the rest of the traffic. I'm talking blenddsssssss...& tunessssss and gahhhh everything. 

DJ SHAKE A LEG is also at every good party, including our own obviously, and is clearly studying talent as this mix shows a level of confidence & technique that you'd expect to see at Club 77 when they got some hectic international in. Their finger is on the pulse and it's genius. 

I highly recommend listening to this and I highly recommend you get around SHAKE A LEG as they are going to have a big 2024, I can feel it. In honour of today's artist's heritage we have put a donation link in our bio to Gunawirra, a local charity that works closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, families, children and communities to reach their full potential. If you are in a position to donate please rest assured that this is a brilliant organisation to contribute to.

We are excited to have another go this year & spread as much love and good energy as possible.

Back for a much anticipated second round, wilbin brings his penchant for club-sinking, sample-laden selections to the SHORTMIX series.

Doing his best to replicate the Northern European saunas of his recent living, wilbin stokes the sonic coals with a depth of sounds all the way from J Wax to Amor Satyr. The air hangs thick in this mix, with squeezed electro basslines and frenetic breakbeats giving way to moments of pure dancefloor drive.
