Imagine you are a queer refugee and there’s a place you can go. A place like Queer Base where queer refugees find the respect, love and support of a community ready to fight the system. A community center that allows you to be who you are and gives you the ressources you need to live your life in freedom.

Together with Queer Base we took over the airwaves at Radio 80000 with so many amazing artists around the globe, that join our cause to support the Legal Advice Team of Queer Base .

“Free Palestine as a Queer Issue” brought together members of alQaws, a left grassroots organization working for sexual and gender diversity in Palestinian society, and a Berlin-based activist of Jewish descent to discuss the stakes of living and organizing for queer liberation under military occupation. The panel was moderated by a member of QUARC, whose anti-racist and anti-colonial interventions in Berlin we encourage you to follow, from talks and screenings all the way to the annual Internationalist Queer Pride. We also want to take this opportunity to encourage everyone who can afford it to donate to alQaws and support their essential work in outreach, peer-to-peer support, and grassroots organising.
