Japanese Techno pioneer Ken Ishii returns to Radio Slave’s Rekids Special Projects with the ‘Autopilot’ EP, arriving 22nd August 2025. It follows his first appearance on the label in 2023, where he collaborated with Dutch duo Kamara on the ‘Powerplay’ single.

‘Autopilot’ kicks oﬀ with an unsuspecting, rolling groove while playful synths sneak up and bounce oﬀ its rhythm. The trip continues with ‘Sunset Flight’, lush chords washing over deep, subby low-end, rising high before delving back into the background while delicious percs play between its pounding kick drums. Closer ‘Grid Bounce’ then returns to mischief, machine-like sequences tumbling over an unrelenting beat, excellently building pressure for maximum dancefloor wonk.

DJ and producer Ken Ishii is one of the founding artists behind the Japanese Techno scene, he debuted on R&S Records in 1993 and quickly rose to global acclaim, releasing on labels like Harthouse, Exceptional, and now Rekids’ RSPX oﬀshoot, while collaborating with artists like Jeﬀ Mills, who remixed Ishii’s 2019 ‘MOBÏUS STRIP’ album on U/M/A/A.

He is also the founder of the 70 Drums label, co-brewer of KIKK IPA, worked on theme songs for the 1998 Winter Olympics and the Japanese government for the 2005 World Expo, and continues to innovate through projects ranging from video game and anime soundtracks to collaborations with Jazz artists.

Austria’s Uncertain arrives on Rekids' REK’D label for the first time with the ‘Nasty House’ EP 19th September 2025. He follows up his 2024 ‘Praise’ album on the Techno-focused RSPX sibling label, alongside several EPs since his debut in 2022.

For ‘Nasty House’, he turns the clock back to his 90s House roots, before his signature, drummy Techno sounds as Boriqua Tribez in the 2000s and later Uncertain project.

‘Nasty’ is up first, a tough beat underpinning deep, swishing synths which thread along the bassline while classic House elements subtly rear their head throughout.

‘Push’ continues, slightly more jacking, but equally classy, fusing lush chords with expert, old-school sampling.

Active since 1989 as Boriqua Tribez and known as Uncertain since 2018, he has made a name for himself with diverse productions that have made him one of Beatport’s top-selling Techno artists, while his fast-paced three-deck mixing and dancefloor storytelling fuel his tours abroad. Across the last three decades, he’s worked on countless releases on labels like Truncate, Beard Man, Illegal Alien, and Mind Medizin.

Matt Edwards launched REK’D in October 2024 to release no-nonsense House music without the limitations of parent label Rekids. It has released dancefloor-ready EPs from artists such as St. David, DCLVIII OFC, James Juke, James Curd, Ketiov, and more.

London artist CASSIMM returns to Rekids with ‘I’ll Take You There’, landing 26th September 2025. It follows his recent remixes for label boss Radio Slave and his 2024 ‘House of Moves’ EP on the imprint, which won support from the likes of Paul Woolford, Dam Swindle, Jamie Jones, and Laurent Garnier.

CASSIMM’s 'I’ll Take You There' is a chunky House cut with powerful bass and rolling drums, joined by filters which build the vibe while a diva vocal rings out with raw emotion. It's a perfect mix of gritty production and infectious rhythm that lights up the floor with pure underground credentials, while the club mix of ‘I’ll Take You There’ hypnotises with a loopy feel and toughed-up groove.

UK artist Denney arrives on Radio Slave’s REK’D for the first time with ‘Promises’, landing 3rd October 2025. Following up his 2023 debut ‘Catch The Heat’ single on flagship label Rekids, ‘Promises’ features the voice of platinum-selling singer-songwriter Penny F, and is a low-slung House groover with a subtle nod to old-school, golden-age Progressive sounds. Courtesy of raw, rolling square bass, and the deep emotion evoked by Penny’s heartfelt vocals - ‘Promises’ is a late-night track to lose yourself to on dark, strobe-lit dancefloors.

With ‘Promises’, Denney follows up his 2023 ‘Catch The Heat’ single on Rekids, which featured a vocal from Charlotte Riby and remixes by Nic Fanciulli and Franky & Sandrino. The North England-born DJ and producer broke through with his Hot Creations hit ‘Ultraviolet’ and has since released music on labels such as Crosstown Rebels and Knee Deep In Sound, while playing at venues including fabric, DC10, and BPM Festival.

For his debut on REK’D, he teams up with Penny F, who has co-written chart-topping tracks with Lana Del Rey and collaborated with artists like William Orbit, Yousef, Ali Love, and more, with releases spanning Ministry of Sound, Toolroom, Armada, and Spinnin’ Records.

German-Romanian duo Frankey & Sandrino come back to Rekids with the Please EP, landing 10th October 2025 alongside a remix from Echonomist. They follow their 2022 Brainscan EP on Radio Slave’s label, as well as a remix for Denney in 2023.

With an irresistible bassline, smooth melody, and a nostalgia-fuelled vocal, Please is the kind of track you hear as you walk into a busy tent at a festival—hands in the air, energy abundant. Frankey & Sandrino are masters at crafting emotional dancefloor bangers, going a little deeper on the progressive Genie, building up to busy stabs and mind-melting, futuristic sound design.

Completing the EP, the pair call in Greek DJ and producer Echonomist to remix Please. The Innervisions and Exit Strategy artist strips the original back, transforming it into a dark, hypnotic groover built for smoke-lit dance floors.

Frankey & Sandrino are a German duo that has been shaping dance floors since 2009 with their distinct, trend-defying sound. With releases on Kompakt, Diynamic, and their own Sum Over Histories, and regular appearances at clubs like fabric and Stereo, they now return to Rekids with the Please EP.

Founded in 2006, Radio Slave’s Rekids has since launched the techno-focused Rekids Special Projects in 2017 and its latest sublabel, REK’D, in 2024. With Matt Edwards as the sole A&R, Rekids has been instrumental in developing emerging artists and remains a trusted home for house and adjacent sounds, recently featuring names such as Harry Romero, Tal Fussman, Spencer Parker, The Hacker, and more.

Berlin’s J Choirboy debuts on Rekids Special Projects with the ‘Mammoth’ EP, landing 17th October 2025. The title track taps into the sort of big, muscular club tools that defined Rekids label head Radio Slave’s early career, with fizzing chords hanging above booming kicks and a constant tension built to dominate dance floors. ‘Loam’ is just as heavy, this time with bright chords bouncing oﬀ gritty, rolling drums for full-body workouts in the club. ‘Stacco’ sinks into grainy territory with static-charged synths and a swinging kick, perfect for warm-ups or 5 a.m. hypnosis. Closing cut ‘The Miller’ layers liquid chords and perfectly syncopated drums into a vast wall of warm, enveloping Dub.

Rooted in choral traditions but driven by a love for Techno and early rave, J Choirboy channels both musical depth and raw energy into his productions. Now based in Berlin, he has previously released on La Mission, now returning with a strong debut for RSPX via the ‘Mammoth’ EP, which has already won support from the likes of DJ Rolando, Elisa Bee, and Truncate.
