Globetrotters, time travelers, fun seekers, vinyl diggers, dance lovers… Many are the types of beings that thrive in this sonic culture of ours, finding shelter and happiness in this sensorial and emotional universe fostered by musical communion. And the creatures therein are more than just characters, they comprise the fauna and flora of these aural environments in which we dwell and revel, sustaining it with both their projects and their passion. Take the magnificent French trio known as Bayetë for example, an autonomous ecosystem of discovery and debauchery that strives to create the perfect conditions for our enjoyment of the treasures they find in their excursions across the world. A noble purpose that is so powerful that it does not solely rely on the collective's togetherness to exist, each of its members carry that same seminal drive in everything they do individually. Something we can perfectly perceive in this episode of Gop Cast where Simon, one of its members who recently relocated to São Paulo, manages to encapsulate the eclectic excellence of their musical abundance in a stellar mix of moods, grooves and everything in between.

This time around we're taking an uplifting cruise through foundational and under the radar deep house from the golden era stitched together by NYC's @arsenii aka Bliss Street Queens. Arsenii released an incredible record with us a few months back called the "Deep Hows EP" and this mix is evocative of the sound he explored on that essential 12". For this special edition of the RA Exchange, the artist and entrepreneur is interviewed by Berlin-based DJ Juba about the label and store’s 25-year anniversary, as well as his first forays into record collecting and the changing landscape of vinyl distribution in an ever-digitalizing world.
