A fanatic vinyl collector and a well known name in the nightlife of Budapest, whose collection touches almost every genre from electro and techno to italian hypno.
In the last two decades we could follow his journey during the various acid partys, on the events of Technokunst as well as during Alkotótábor, where his act is always one of the most exciting points of the festival. He is also a rerurning guest in Aether since the summer of 2021.
His captivating diverse playstyle and ability to constantly innovate together with his top technical knowledge made him our obvious choice to ask him to be part of the team and be our new resident DJ in our beloved Aether.

Subotage már gimnazistaként megalapította társaival a legendás NVC-t, ami a kétezres évek egyik legkomolyabb promoter/dj csapata volt. Olyan artistok első magyarországi fellépését köszönhetjük nekik, mint Paul Kalkbrenner, Ellen Allien, Extrawelt, Oliver Huntemann, Pan-Pot, Florian Meindl, Popof, Stimming, Moderat, vagy JonHopkins. Több budapesti kulthely megnyitása is hozzájuk köthető (Központ, Turbina, Dobrumba), illetve, ami itthon Telekom Electronic Beats, vagy Selected Sounds színekben történik, valójában amögött is ugyanaz a fáradhatatlan csapat áll.

Subotage a kezdetek óta szeret ugrálni a pszichedelikus és technoid zenék között. Dj-ként és producerként is aktív. A technós főprofil mellett van egy másik, eklektikusabb alteregója is, a Surfalone.

Az elmúlt évtizedben végigjárta a magyarországi klubokat és visszatérő vendég az Alkotótábor, az Ozora, a Kolorádó és sok más fesztiválon is. Németországban többször is zenélt, de fellépett már a horvátországi Dimensions fesztiválon, zenélt Brazíliában, Szerbiában, Bulgáriában és Pozsonyban is.

Sok más remix mellett 2018 nyarán feldolgozta az Anima Sound System zenekar legendás számát, a '68-at is.

A 2019 sok új tapasztalást hozott számára dj-zés terén, két legfontosabb fellépése a brazíliai Adhana Festivalon és az Ozora Festival Pumpui helyszínén történt. Ez utóbbira saját bevallása szerint 15 éven át készült, és eddigi élete legfontosabb éjszakáját élte át eggyé válva a közönséggel. Az évet és az évtizedet 'Psychotechno 2020' c. összegző stúdiómixszel zárta.
  2022 eddigi pályafutásának legaktívabb éve is lett, 8 saját megjelent zenével és több tízezer lejetszással, egy nemzetközi rilizzel (Boshke Beats) és egy klipszemlés első díjjal a zsebében karácsonykor még megjelent ’DANCE’ címre hallgató Ep-je, benne Pina Bausch kortárstánc-koreográfus legendás mondatával, mely ma világunk egyik mottója is lehetne: “Dance, dance, otherwise we are lost.”

Az idei őrült, exponenciálisan felpörgő évet pedig egy szilveszteri mixszel zárja, mely számos mostani techno alműfajon végigvezet minket, megspékelve néhány saját és kiadatlan zenével is, míg a végén meg sem áll a 180 bpm-es freeteknoig, hogy az arcunkba kiabálja: Boldog Új Technót Kívánok!
