We are back with another legend to host yet an amazing episode of the 420μHz podcast!

Dominic Thomas a.k.a Atmos https://soundcloud.com/atmotech, graces us with a smooth digital ride through a deep proggy 120BPMish landscape. The 420µHz Bardo #14 of our podcast undeniably lives up to the epithet Knullmix.

In Tomasz’s more than 25 years of touring globally to festivals, clubs and event, he has performed and memorised psy-trance stompers at the main stages of https://soundcloud.com/boomfestival, Shankara, Voov and many more.

Naturally, as that part of his artistic expressions gets more attention, the second half, Dominic Thomas, is no low grade second tier character. Equally prestigioiusly, he has graced stages at https://soundcloud.com/ozora-festival, https://soundcloud.com/psy-fi-festival, Eclipse Festival in Australia, https://soundcloud.com/sehr-sch-n-festival, and Fusion https://soundcloud.com/bachstelzen to name a few ones.

Hopefully and not too surprisingly, there will be more to come. So stay tuned and keep an eye out. For whenever you have an Atmos on the line-up, the odds are favourable for an Dominic Thomas appearance as well.

But where does this name Knullmix originate from?

Entering Solon Marwan, and being surprised by the news of a newly recorded episode of 420µHz. I was met by the creator Dominic Thomas raging towards me in his trademark alpha strut, and so eloquently putting the phrase “Knullmix” into a sentence. Subsequently in more cave man tongue, I silenced my laughter and bursted out “thats the fucking name of the episode”. The rest is history and kind of a blur from that evening. 

Fast forward some delays, rescheduling, busy life, good weather, we find ourselves at last here at the dawning of Bardo #14 of our 420µHz podcast - Knullmix

On the Way to the big Ozorian reunion, and more specifically the Ambyss, we are joined by TIBOR SZEMZŐ, Hungarian composer, performer, media artist. Oriented by his diverse lines of interest towards the borderline areas of the various genres. Founder of creative performing formations (Group 180, Fodderbasis, Gordian Knot Cinematic Music Lab). Beside music compositions he creates films and installations. His works are present across Europe and beyond.His pieces often include spoken texts, film and other media, creates installations and composes music for his own and others’ films. Ever since the beginning of his career, he has been performing actively and widely. In 1973, he founded the Szemző Quartet (originally a trio) playing improvised chamber music, which later merged into Group 180. From 1987 to 2003, London-based Leo Records released his recordings, occasionally in co-operation with Hungary-based Bahia Records. His first solo release was Snapshot from the Island in 1987. His legacy and life long work is countless and versatile, his Ambyss existence will bring a new chapter in the stage’s history.

Dubmission presents MARK CHURCHER. Amongst other projects, Mark Churcher is one half of mid 90s electronic Dub band V-Neck. They are considered, by some, to be a notable link between dub, ambient and techno before sub genres like dub techno and dubstep became fully established. As well as gaining fans like Aphex Twin, they have been on complication albums alongside the likes of Adrian Sherwood, The Mad Professor, Luke Vibert and Muslimgauze. In recent years Mark has resurrected the Emote label to re-issue V-Neck and release lost recordings as well as new material. He also runs a vintage sounding acid label called Chicago Bee and makes acid under the name A-Eno-Acid.

MARK CHURCHER | Dubmission Records Series Ep. 32 | 07/12/2022

This Disco Gecko Recordings episode features ANIMAT @ Ozora 2022. Sheffield’s cinematic soundtrackers Mark Daly and Michael Harding worked together from 2005 to 2021, establishing a reputation in the UK for their unique live re-score events, performing at cinemas, festivals and other venues across the country with cult films including Dark Star (John Carpenter), Belleville Rendezvous (Sylvain Chomet), Un Homme Qui Dort (Bernard Queysanne) and The Straight Story (David Lynch). Animat's final live set is a tribute to Michael Harding, one half of the band who sadly passed away early in 2021. Michael's enthusiasm for the booking, originally for the 2020 edition, made Mark Daly determined to play for the last time under the Animat name. In his words: "The crowd, the Ozora team, and the Ambyss venue were all so great it seemed a very fitting way to draw a line under the band after the loss of Michael. Putting the set together was the hard part, as it triggered so many memories of happy times we spent together, writing, recording, and gigging up and down the country. Playing the set was different in that it was much more joyful, and a great way to remember my friend. I'd like to thank the Ozora team for making it all possible."

This Sangoma episode features DAKSINAMURTI's Live Set 2022. Daksinamurti is a psychedelic trance artist, ethnologist, label manager and producer from Marburg, Germany. Together with his friend Emiel he founded and runs the label Sangoma Records. Till has been performing at events and festivals worldwide since the year 2000. Upon discovering Goatrance on the beaches of India in the early 90’s, Daksinamurti developed a diverse and insatiable thirst for studying the effects of psychedelic music on the body and mind. Combined with his passion of anthropology, his journey in music has been distinguished by his desire to discover and the depths of psychoacoustic application in music. About this set, Daksi says: "This mix was meant to be a showcase for my album but ended up as a mix of my contemporary music, music from my just released album and some sneak peaks of what is coming in the near future. It contains some solo work and collaborations with Cosinus, Peyotes, Eritas, N3xu5, Killawatt, Yabba Dabba, Superluminal (Kabayun & Yasmin), Lemurians, Oksha, Yebah & Via Axis.
