Psytrance Releases 2024

Hey lovelies! I hope everyone had a great entry into 2022!

It occurred to me that it's been a while since I shared a full set of mine so I thought new year = new set 🎶 

The name "Plava" is used in the Indian Panchang system (Hindu Calendar) from where each year has a name. 
The year 2019-20 was named ‘Vikari’, meaning "illness". 
The year 2020-21 was named ‘Sharvari’, meaning darkness. It's pretty safe to say that these previous years lived up to both of their names. 
Now the ‘Plava’ year (2021-22) - ‘Plava’ means, "that - which ferries us across". In other words a new beginning. 

It's now up to us how we want to define the time to come - Let's make the best out of it! <3

Boom Festival 2022 is around the corner, we got non other than the mighty Tristan to get you warmed up! Tristan has been playing Psytrance since its inception in the early 90’s and has consistently stayed at the top of the cutting edge with his signature euphoric Psychedelic sound. He releases on Nano Records where he has cultivated the UK psychedelic sound, with his forthcoming album ‘Crazy Wisdom’ out soon. Tristan performs all around the world at all the major psytrance clubs and festivals blowing minds and rocking Dancefloors!

Nano features BURN IN NOISE in this episode who is proud to share a selection of tunes from his latest studio album, "Burn in Noise & Amigos", which showcases a range of collaborations with artists such as Ajja, Altruism, Dickster, GMS, Imaginarium, Shivatree, Symbolico, Tristan, and Vertical. Each track has been carefully crafted to blend Burn in Noise's signature sound with the unique styles of his collaborators. Burn in Noise was brought up dedicating his time and interest completely to music. He's been playing the guitar since his early days. He played in 2 rock bands, up to the day when, during a trip to London, got in touch with the psychedelic trance music. The interest in electronic music grew fast and, in the end of 1999, started buying softwares for producing music. With an individual style focusing on strong warm bass lines and textured, psychedelic leads that demand your attention, it breaks away from the standard full-on, representing a new, fresh direction in dance-floor music.

Back in 1994, Point Zero was released on vinyl – one of the very first tracks in this style that I ever listened to, and a piece of music that truly shaped me. Years later, I felt the need to reinterpret this beautiful work in my own way, giving it an energetic twist while keeping its spirit alive.

This remix has been resting on my hard drive for a long time, and I finally want to share it with you as a studio preview. I don’t have the explicit permission from the original artist, so if there are any concerns, I will of course take it down. But my hope is simply to honor the original and let you hear my personal interpretation of a track that has inspired me deeply.
