Michael W. is dj Cosinus born 1979 in Germany. He discovered the world of electronic music at the young age of 13, inspired by artist like Yello, Kraftwerk and the hard rythem of detroit techno and house music . He started his first steps behind a pair of turntables and a mixing desk at a local youth club in his hometown in germany at the age of 15 . In the year 1997 he started to work as a resident dj in several techno clubs in the southern area, he also played at parties all over germany, shared the stage with the big names from the german techno scene. 1998 was the year he changed his musical direction completely – he discovered the world of psychedelic trance and very quickly he started to collect and play this “secret” sound at small private underground parties all over austria, germany and switzerland. Since 4 Years he’s now residing in Switzerland and played 2 years there for Fractal Records, one of the best local organizers and one of the best known records labels to this time. His style can best described as pumping, groovy, snarling, epic forest trance – strictly no cheese. Fits perfect for the early sunrise times, but he also loves to tell weird psychedelic night stories..The music there is now hard powerful underground trance for acid heads. Described as a kicking chaotic jamming Music machine Cosinus is delivering strong sets ( between 145 up to max. 150bpm) quite far away from the typical form of commercial trance. In the times before time, all creative energy, wisdom, expressions, and inspirations were poured into a vessel, the Odraerir, the whirler of Odr, or as some call it the mead of the poets. Odr is the ancient energy, the primeval magic. The inspiration behind every poet, bard, wisdom seeker, shamans and the likes. But also the energy that can drive men mad, furious, and insane. One sip too much and one can loose all contact to reality. So if you advance to that thin line of inspiration, walking on the edge of the precipice be aware of your steps or risk to fall. But for those that dare to venture to that edge, the view is so breathtaking and beyond words, that we return with a passion for expression that has no rivals. 

So don't take this journey lightly, but also don't take yourself too serious, learn to approach the edge, but don't get greedy. One step too far and you will tumble into an eternity. And only a very few have made that journey back, all the others have to start at the beginning of time again... But don't let that stop you from seeking the source of all creativity. Even the slightest drop is worth the effort, and what is a life lived with no risk taken? 

So to quote a master that has seen and been on the edge:
Don't Panic... :)
