Desert Dwellers were extremely honored to open for one of their favorite artists Shpongle (Simon Posford) for a 7 week tour in early 2014 called The Museum of Consciousness Tour. Consisting of 42 gigs around the United States, the combo of Desert Dwellers and Shponlge turned out to be a very powerful show. This particular Desert Dwellers set was the live unedited recording of the show in Lafayette on March 27th, where some mega fans were tearing it up in the dancefloor. Big thanks to Simon, Zebbler, Ben, Hippie, and Pete for such an epic tour!

Cosmosophy and The Peaking Goddes Collective member Daniel Symons' solo project DYMONS debuts on 7th April 2014 Monday 8pm CET on the Chill channel. 

Daniel Symons (a.k.a. Dymons) started his musical career singing and drumming at a very early age, playing on his Mum’s pots and pans! In his late teens his love for drum beats, combined with his thirst for adventure, landed him on a train to West Africa and Burkina Faso where he traded his own drum kit for the local version - djembes. His quest for alternative life styles, cultures, and music since then has taken him over the five continents. Daniel Symons has spent over eight years on the road, traveling and gaining considerable musical experience, playing many different instruments and assembling a large soundbank, traveling as he did with a digital tape recorder on him at all times. His personal philosophy that "there's much more to reality than we can see" led him to explore different states of consciousness with shamans and medicine men from many different parts of the world. He has since gone on to help others experience such states and cure themselves by musically accompanying healing ceremonies and rituals such as firewalks, trance dances, and sweatlodges. It also led him to spend a lot of time in nature, where much of his creative inspiration is drawn from. 

He has now settled down in Switzerland to write and produce his music, which he mostly releases on his own record label Elestial Records. He has also however appeared on over 30 different album releases throughout his career, in addition to his involvement in two bands - writing, recording, mixing and performing with The Peaking Goddess Collective, whose debut release in 2007 was the album “Organika” which came out on Peak Records and also as a part of Cosmosophy whose debut album “Organic Space Age” was released in 2009. 

His first solo album "Druids Brew" is a potion made of the many influences he was blessed with throughout his traveling through space, time and beyond and features guests from all around the globe. Daniel Symons' latest creation is the soundtrack to Amrit - Nectar of Immortality. The film is a documentary about the Kumbh Mela, a sacred Hindu pilgrimage to the banks of the river Ganges. It is the largest human gathering in the world. A remix album of the soundtrack will be released in 2013 by Elestial Records. 2013 will also see album releases as a solo artist under the names Crystal Monkey (an uplifting psychedelic trance project) and The Light Shifter (a progressive trance piece). Throughout his career Daniel Symons has played and written music with artists from all over the world and has performed over a thousand live gigs in more than forty different countries, sharing the stage with most of the biggest names in progressive, psytrance and chill out music. He has also performed as a percussionist live with acts such as Eat Static and Adam Shaikh.

Dymons "Live At Alchemy Studios" 07/04/2014

Vlastur started his journey into music as a Bass player. Back in the mid-80's, he was a founding member of the Cohash Funk, an underground funky Athenian group. In 1998 alongside Frequency Freak, fellow Cohash funk guitarist and Spiris, a dubby drummer, formed "Apeuthias Syndesi" now known as Direct Connection, a dub experimental laboratory. They released "Dub Infection" in 2007. Even though he started as a Bassist in Direct Connection, he was the main FX Sound Engineer of the band.

In the meanwhile he was also working as a session musician with various artists and bands. In 2004 he teamed up with Palyrria an ethnic-electronica band and in 2005 recorded "Methexy" with them and has played in many of their gigs. 

The (InterAxion Dub) project is the first fully length work of Vlastur. Influenced by all his beloved sounds from Dub to Dubstep trough Psy, Ambient, Drum n' Bass and Traditional Mediterranean sounds ! 

Vlastur is the live project of him. The active members right now are: Dark Elf (Synth/Machines) + Tolis aka DreamMadeTeller on percussions and vox, also Akbar on percussions, Wee (Guitar) + G.Verix as a sound engineer, while other have been participating the previous years, like Frequency Freak (Guitar/Synths), Spyro K. (Drums), Elena (Vocals), Pan Kaperneka (Flute) and Dinos Z. on the sound consoles. Vlastur believes that the sound evolves constantly while the vibe remains the same, from Rock n' Roll to Punk and from Dub to Psy.

Mario Sounoglou is the Mind behind Kokobloko, Darkshire and Makumba Projects. He was born in Athens, Greece on 21st December 1984 and lives currently in Athens. Mario holds a BSc in Computer Science and an MSc in Computer Animation from University of Kent, UK.
Mario discovered Psychedelic Trance in the early 2000s, after attending various Music Festivals. He made his first steps in Music Production at the age of 20. In August 2004, Mario met Viktor Zolotarenko during one of his live performances in Athens and was influenced by his music style. A year later he released his first single with Zolod Parasense/Terminator on Vertigo Records.
New Releases followed in Labels such as Discovalley Records, Tantrumm, Manic Dragon, Drop Out Productions, Mighty Quinn, Trishula and Foot Stomping Records. In 2006, Mario teamed up with his friend Gregorio Materia Increada/GR and started experimenting on the Kokobloko Project, on which he continues solo two years later.
In 2009, his debut album “Darkshire & Amigos – Break Down” was published on Helicon Sound System and was followed by the split album “Distorted Shire” in collaboration with Nelsun/Mind Distortion System on Lycantrop Records.
Meanwhile collaborations appeared with Kolya Furious/Crazy Astronaut in Crazy Astronaut Renegade on Osom Music and with Fareji Jalebi on Parvati Records. In 2010, he expose more music on Labels such as Pukkawallah Records (Japan), Lycantrop Records, Deviant Force Records (Germany).
In 2011, Mario founded his own Label known as “Future Tribe Office” under which he released the debut Kokobloko & Friendz – Pobeg V Budushee Album. Later that year, Discovalley Records released his last work of Darkshire Project, the “Path of Memories” album. In 2013, Mario launched his new solo project “Makumba”, evolution of Darkshire sound with its Debut EP “Drawn to life”. In September 2014 he released the 2nd full length Kokobloko album “FutureProof” under his “Future Tribe Office” Label. In February 2015, a new collaboration with Matteo Radice from Italy led to “Brain Board” album release also on F.T.O. The 2nd Makumba EP “Spirit Matters” released on Insomnia Records in December 2015. Meanwhile from late 2014 the Obelisk Project was born . Obelisk is a trio consisting of Ectogasmics, and Darkshire/Makumba. In April 2016 Parvati Records
release the 1st Obelisk EP called “The fingerprint”.
Mario has performed numerous times in more than 19 countries worldwide such as Australia, Canada, U.S.A, Japan, Brazil, Russia, Germany, Italy, France, United Kingdom, Belgium, Portugal, Austria, Ukraine, Slovakia, Czech Republic, India, Nepal and of course in Greece.

Hello friends! Just a little freestyle minimix I did...I will start doing tech session mixes, consider this episode 1.  I'd like to point out that old is gold! Electronic music tends to have a short shelf life, but I don't think it should. Yes it's great to have new music and unreleased, but don't forget the gems. Some of these tracks are newer but some are a few years old, and have played them over the years,  but I did not discriminate! Just let it flowwwwww, good music to be played, true DJ session. You will also notice some tech remixes of some psy classics as well. I hope you enjoy!
