DJ Basilisk revisits the classic psytrance sound on Transmissions From Valhalla, a monumental 4+ hour journey featuring more than 60 tracks released between 1997 and 2005. This time around the focus is mainly on the many permutations of the “minimal wave” that swept through the scene in the early years of the new millennium. Expect to hear a wide variety of hypnotic atmospheres, quirky rhythms, and brutal beats as the pressure builds toward a raging full-on mind-bending climax. The return path explores the deeper and more sublime side of progressive psytrance before unraveling with shimmering breakbeats and dubbed-out electronica.

Conceived, arranged, mixed, and mastered by DJ Basilisk in Taipei, Taiwan, July 2022. Recorded using Traktor 3 with a Korg Nanokontrol. Post-processed with Audacity, Ableton Live 11, and LoudMax. Several custom edits and refixes were made especially for this mix.

Boshke Beats is now featuring YUTA with this live set recorded at the Agaitida Festival afterparty, Okinawa, Japan 2021. YUTA is a DJ, Organizer, Label A&R in Japan, starting his career in 2004. YUTA’s playfulness and visions are evident in his transformation from a leading Retro 90’s Goa trance DJ under legendary Matsuri Digital, to his Psychedelic Techno project Liquid Drop Groove. His music, which he describes as PSYCHEDELIC with build-up and cinematic flow is a result of his huge experience as an artist, performing at major festivals around the world. YUTA started “Agaitida" based in Okinawa in 2015. The theme of the festival is to bridge South-East Asia with a beautiful sunset location in a world heritage village. His own Psychedelic Techno label Liquid Drop Groove was established in 2016 with a vision to create a space and soundwave that mimics a ripple made by a single drop on the surface of the water. In 2021, he launched 2 festivals: EDEN, an open air festival with the theme of "Paradise in the Sky", and SPECTACLE, a conceptual party with DJ Nobu. YUTA provides mixes for London's NTS Radio that one of the best in internet radio, and for maniacal podcasts that reach a core audience around the world. He also runs to quality releases on Liquid Drop Groove, and managing podcasts and distributing downbeat videos. And write articles on Clubberia, a traditional media for electric music.
