Upavas is a unique artist and a true Goa pioneer. He came to Goa by accident in 1986 and fell in love . His love stuck and evolved with the scene until today. Upavas began writing electronic music in 2002 and earned himself a reputation for dark & twilight PSY over the years. He has been a part of Sangoma Records' artist roster since 2014, where he happily continues his musical mischief. He is currently working on a new album. Get ready to go PSYCHEDELIC!

Treetrolla's Treetrospective episode 2 is here by DJ VASKA. DJ Vaska aka Vasyl Sagaidak got onboard the psychedelic starship in 2001 in Odessa, Ukraine. He started Treetrolla Records in 2008. His studio experiments include Skogarna and LoOkOmOria forest psychedelic projects. In Treetrolla's words about this edition: "Greetings to Ozora! We are happy to represent our music with radiOzora and share it with you, its awesome audience! Our sonic journey is happening since the first release in 2009 and is oriented towards the forest psytrance genre. This dj-set will consist of music represented among our record label's releases through the years, but still in the end we are cooking some cute sonic sweets from the future ones! ElwOod came to enchant us with his new EP ¨Occult Messages¨ showcasing a captivating blend of forest and dark psychedelia. With a unique style that draws inspiration from the occult. Elwood´s journey in music has been marked by a commitment to exploring mystical and esoteric themes through sound.

OCCULT MESSAGES

The enchanting tale woven into the EP draws inspiration from a personal journey that unfolded between the realms of dreams, and reality. In a deep slumber and immersed in a rather eerie dream, I found myself walking along a dim path in a park adorned with benches. On one of those benches, I suddenly came across a greyish white owl. I was captivated by its presence, as its gaze was constantly focused on me. As I was approaching it, there was no trace of fear in its reaction, while I, on the other hand, was frightened by its stare.

In real-time, my little brother — OpeNmiNd Paul — was at his home, watching a documentary on supernatural phenomena. The documentary showcased the appearance of UFOs, as well as the ongoing abductions of people in a state of sleep paralysis. As the narrative unfolded, UFOs appeared in people's dreams, taking on the form of greyish white owls. The following day, I met up with my brother, being astounded as I was sharing the dream I had experienced. In turn, he informed me about the documentary he had watched, expressing how it had also filled him with fear.
Clearly, an indirect bond intertwined between us, as peculiar as it was meaningful… or could it have been a sign of a possible abduction?

This is a story based on true events that happened 10 years ago.
Through this story, the project “Synesthesis” was born in collaboration with OpeΝmiΝd Paul.

My name is Matthias and I was born in Bavaria in the 70s. In my early years as a youngling I had to learn a lot of uncool instruments and because i never found fun in play scales for hours I didn‘t really practice and instead had more time for other interests. Since I can‘t sing and can‘t play any cool instruments Ilways loved to listen to music and when the first Front 242 CD finally found its way into my CD player, I was hooked on electronic music. I started to buy synthesizers from my first hard earned money and started a long jouney into experimental music, noise and industrial sounds. I released music on vinyl, cassette and traveled the world playing noise shows and enjoying life to the full.
Over the years my musical interests shifted towards dark ambient and idm for some deep space exploration trips to the outer rims of the solar system. During a short visit back to good old earth I went on a walk through the winter woods with some decent black metal in my ears and uncle Albert by my side and for a moment the Spirit of the Forest appeared and gave me a mission to spread love and happines among human beings.
On that day my journey into the world of psychedelic music started and from that day on, I am trying hard to develop some lovely melodies but it never works out. Instead, I end up with some darker tunes,…. a truly desperate situation, I assure you….. but I am on a mission and I won‘t stop spreading lovely darkness to the masses!!
