Yumii is a DJ, musician, performer, and sound healer from Tokyo, Japan, who incorporates her other disciplines of reiki and spiritual healing into her musical creations.

By 2004, she embarked on an adventure as a DJ, performing at various Tokyo ‘lounge' clubs. Through these experiences, Yumii recognized music's healing power, thus arousing her interest in sound healing.

Yumii plays organic, electro ambient, global fusion music. In her freestyle sets, she takes listeners on an intercontinental and transcedental journey, by fusing traditional and modern music motifs from around the world, combined with a meditative spaciousness.

Both in her chill-out and dance sets, Yumii’s music has gained popularity, since her intuitive, sound sculpturing expertise have the power to purify and optimize the energy fields of an event's participants. She is a visionary, sound alchemist, who is boldly ushering in a new musical era and inspiring a greater awareness of sound vibrations' relationship with our internal and external biosphere.

In this episode you can listen to "The Resin Sessions",  a live studio set (analog and digital synths + live percussion) by KALYA SCINTILLA, performed and recorded at Kloud Studios. About the set, Kalya Scintilla says: "After months and months of inner and outer processes - gear learning challenges, self doubt, life outside the studio getting in the way.... I made a Kalya Scintilla studio set. I put a lot of (probably unnecessary) pressure on myself for this one. After 12 years of producing Kalya songs in Logic with endless tracks, layers, instruments and sound design - how could I possibly reduce those complex compositions down into less than 20 simple elements, and then sequence and play that live and get anything close to that sound? Well here it is. What I would call a more refined and mature Kalya Scintilla sound... a taste of things to come? Perhaps... I also wanted to step up the live aspect of this session so towards the end of composing the set I recorded a bunch of live percussion parts. I then used Logic Loops to trigger these parts with the iPad. That was a fun experience and definitely something I will explore more. And why 'The Resin Sessions' ?? - For the majority of the sessions that went into creating this set I was exploring the deep and nourishing realm of PÜRBLACK Shilajit Resin, focusing on how the intention of taking a mineral resin can aid, colour and shape the creative experience. Shilajit is powerful stuff, if you don't know what it is I reckon its worth checking out. Enjoy the music!"

Here's the full version of the set which was presented at the Dome Stage in Ozora Festival 2023. 
This is what i originally designed to present with a duration of a bit longer than 3 hours which i had to shorten in the actual version by 'cutting' a couple of tracks (from the beginning and ending)in order to be exactly in the three-hour timeframe of the timetable, without of course 'interrupting' the flow and plot of the set.

So this is the full story, a journey through various genres, bpms and vibes with main intention to be as trippy, groovy and danceable as possible...enjoy :)))
