This episode of Mindspring Music Series features Looney Grandpas,  two guys from Croatia joined by their passion for weird, glitchy and dubby sounds, but most of all, traditional, ethnic and world music. With nearly 2 decades of production under his belt, Emir had his first vinyl released back in 2003 (for Hadshot) with his tech project Shuma, followed by numerous releases on Tribal Vision, Beef Records, Gastspeil and more. Goran, a world class percussionist is a passionate collector of exotic drums and percussion instruments. Having played with numerous live bands and live acts throughout his career gave him the signature style that his live drumming adds and brings to life an organic engagement, that special touch. LOONEY GRANDPAS | Mindspring Music Series Ep. 9 | 15/02/2022

This Mindspring Music selection episode features GLEEKCH with a set taking you on an uplifting, glitchy and psychedelic journey, exploring the vibrations between 80 to 180 Bpm. The Gleekch project was born in 2014, an experiment with DAW to create deconstructed melodies and breakbeat. Gleekch's music is lost somewhere between the realms of his influences. The dub aspects are nested in between some verdant trees and a broken computer, and on top of it, some acoustic instruments to make it feel alive.

Traveling through the vast world of ideas in his ark made of thoughts, Klaada decided to create bridges in order to connect the two worlds. These bridges are made of sound, and they transport people on the other side of the mirror, connecting them with implicit order which is the base of everything that exists. Working on the dismantlement of cerebral reduction vents, Klaada creates music based on both ancient and contemporary inspiration, making a symbiosis of consonant, dissonant, organic and digital. While studying at the Academy of Music in Zagreb, he tries to find a meaning of sound itself. His opus consists out of two psychedelic downtempo albums (Breaking the Cycle, Antipodes of the Self-Conscious Mind), psytrance EP (Underground Gathering), a couple of remixes, singles, and a bunch of non released material. He is part of Sunna records from Germany and Mindspring music from the USA.
