VORPAL is an official representative of Australia's industry-leading tech label, Stone Seed, as well as an honourable resident DJ at Sydney's reigning underground techno event, Church of Techno. He released his debut compilation ‘Mydrasis’ through Stone Seed, injecting style and concept into the fibres of his home label, which was met with great international recognition. Having concluded his first European tour in 2023 including some notable events such as Modem Festival (Croatia), Masters of Puppets (Czech) and the iconic Hammahalle at Sisyphos Club (Berlin), 2024 officially marks the next chapter of his career further expanding into the international realm. In this Stone Seed episode, ZigMon shared his "Primerra" collection of deep, grungy bush techno from the Stone Seed catalogue, flourished by three tracks from our friends Digital Structures and Techgnosis Records. On the forefront of the “bush techno” movement, ZigMon intentionally delivers something unexpected and unique with each performance, compelling an emotive journey without the confines of genre. As founder of Stone Seed, resident artist of SixthSense Australia and archbishop at Church of Techno, ZigMon’s bountiful projects and creative outlets allow the space for him to break the boundaries of techno, progressive, house and electronica, generating encapsulating dancefloor dynamics with deepened drive, elated euphoria and a slice of psychedelia. Besides his many festival appearances around the world, ZigMon is also consistently traversing the club circuit, his résumé is topped by closing the Hammahalle main room at the famed Sisyphos, Berlin.

This massive versus set was recorded live at Texas Eclipse Festival 2024 on the Sun Stage during the AlpaKa MuziK takeover on Saturday afternoon, at one of the biggest psychedelic festivals in the world. This set was performed by KOZY (Canada), MYDÄ (Canada) and Crescendoll (USA). This B3B features some of the freshest psychedelic techno tracks mixed with a few favorite older dancefloor heaters. KOZY aka Jeff Koz is the owner and founder of the psychedelic techno label AlpaKa Muzik based out of Montreal, Canada. MYDÄ is a progressive and psychedelic techno duo based out of Toronto, Canada. Amir & Mitch are always finding ways to keep their sound fresh and not limited to any boundaries. The result is a unique brand of glitch-laden groove-heavy progressive techno, with just enough psychedelic attitude to win over any dancefloor. CRESCENDOLL is the dark psychedelic techno project of Erin Parisi, the owner and founder of Shadow Wulf Records. Her unique blend of minimal psytechno is characterized by eerie melodies and driving rhythms, growling gutter grooves, psychedelic progressions and details, and a signature darkness.

I am excited to share the recording of my set recorded this past weekend at Quantum Awakening Festival in New Jersey during our fun Sunday night / Monday morning session featuring Luis M, Evil Oil Man, Manuman and myself on the techno stage.

This set features a ton of new unreleased AlpaKa tunes as well as some of my other favorites! I ended up playing 4-6am Monday morning for the sunrise.

AKA NINA, born and raised in Switzerland. 
One decade ago she found herself drawn into the heart of the techno scene in Berlin. This is where she dedicated her time to studying sound engineering and music production, and here she also started to DJ on a regular base.

Her music style varies from minimalistic dark and groovy beats to more intense and hypnotic techno. In both, her production and in her DJ sets, Nina aims to combine classic techno elements with psychedelic and organic sound design.

Representing xXETEXx, a well-established crew in the electronic Berlin scene. With plenty high-quality releases in her career with Soupherb Records, Occultech Recordings, Digital Structures, Padang Records, Pointzero Rec, Psy4Aliens, Zenon Records and Kafka Tempo.

DJ Xænomørph, a resident AlpaKa DJ, hails originally from Mauritius and had a goal in mind to feature a healthy chunk of talented producers from his home land alongside a carefully curated line-up of absolute legends from around the world.
