BIO

KŎRD aka KurD is an oriental psybass project by Israeli based musician Elad Kord, pioneer of the ethnic midtempo scene in the past decade, and the producer behind Fusion Culture and Desert Bass Festivals 

Elad is a sonic explorer with thick rolling bass sound, deep and sharp beats, and ancient persian soul treats - his project KŎRD will carry your hearts into far away sonic realms.

KŎRD has released on Merkaba Music and Fusion Culture Records, and has been stomping various international festival dancefloors such as Psy-Fi Festival, Anthropos Festival, Doof Festival, Magica Festival and many more…

Aside from his musical endeavors, Elad stands behind the renaissance of the Bass scene in Israel, with incredible event productions such as Fusion Culture, Glitch Beach and Desert Bass Festival. 

Elad dedicated his life to creating artistic musical spaces that are both unique and have a deep sense of community.

Altar Records is so proud to finally unveil the eagerly awaited two new opuses from Profondita, titled "Eternal" and "Island".
The albums will be out June 25 and July 9th, 2021 respectively.

"Eternal" offers 6 new and unreleased tracks and one already released remix track from UCP.
The music is ranging from slow progressive chill-out to downtempo and containins 'Sun Dancer', a progressive trance track in the vein of Hudur's side project Blue Whirl, released on Altar Progressive:

Although we could have released a double-album anthology containing 14 emotional tracks, we thought it would be more interesting to gather them by style and feeling in order to make two different stories that complement each other.
"Eternal" gathers most of Hudur's unreleased material  while "Island", the second chapter, follows with more organic sounds and contains most of Profondita's tunes released on compilations over the last 3 years. They were all completely remastered in 24bit audio quality.

Welcome to the 78th round, and a guest mix from Nautis, a young hungarian musician/producer/DJ deep into psychedelic and chillout music and handpans., who recently came out with his debut album "KOLORFONIA" at OM MANTRA RECORDS. His 10 tracks debut album of 'Nautis' is a wonderful combination of Scandinavian chillout and Eastern / Balkan psychill musical genres, consisting of sharp and clean ambient elements as well as percussive Balkan rhythms with full of heat. The album also features reworks of a Hungarian and a Bulgarian folk song. His mixtape is an authentic psychill selection with many tracks embed from his studio. Enjoy the mix with tracks by Master Minded, Aes Dana, Nautis, Stellardrone, Nibana (Tribute To Yngwie Malmsteen), Syz, Ott, Zebbler Encanti Experience feat. My personal Observation is a live recording from the weekend, an early party starter set i played in Waldorfeszt, this incredible fresh and happy gathering in the woods of Zebegeny, Hungary. The stage was curated by Free Sequence, Balazs Zsager, with a dope lineup and a memorable time, not mentioning the place, a magical tall beech forest. Thanks for this expreience! "

Rainbow Nosed Gorillas [Advanced Suite Remix]

This episode of the the Mindspring Selection Series features The Flying Mars that brings new remixes from Klaada, Hibernation/Kaya Project and Pangani blended with tunes from his second album “Cosmochemistry”. Mario combines Psy-Dub, Ambient, Psy-Chill, as well as Drum & Bass and Psy-Trance with flowing rhythms and deep bass lines. Unusual and alternative sounds, experimentation in rhythm, and melodic alterations: all of this is The Flying Mars project. Mario Engel, hailing from the green valleys in the middle of the Swiss Alps, was always in contact with different genres and had a good ear for many kinds of music. With his project he wants to channel all of his auditory and composing experiences into a mind-bending mix of creativity, giving his contribution to the already variegated world of electronic music.
