Nutek Chill Records new series on radiOzora kicks off with GREEN BEATS, the downtempo formation of Victor Solsona a.k.a. Hypnoxock and Xavier Jansana a.k.a. Dj.Toxic, & Toxic in Dub.

Green Beats was formed by Victor Solsona and Xavier Jansana in 2008 in the catalonian mountains near Barcelona. Xavier is well known as Dj.Toxic & Toxic in Dub for many years in the Ambient & PsyTrance scene in Barcelona, Spain, and europe. Victor is well known Psychedelic trance producer as Hypnoxock & Bioteranian in Barcelona and worldwide. Green Beats is the union of years of effort and experience in their musical careers, infuenced by traditional music, Ethnic and Spiritual but at the same time inspired by the most advanced trends. They have been born with talent and desire to improve every day, always investigating and looking for the latest material, new sounds, new textures and relaxing atmospheres, while creating their particular musical color. Green Beats produce Downtempo, Psy Chill, Breaks, Electro, Dub and Ambient, with strong melodies, hypnotic harmonies and Reggae elements with funky touches, but at the same time psychedelic.

Their debut EP, was released in December 2010 (Free Chilli´s Trance Lab) in 2011 they released "Move for Change" a very inspiring ep with very good reviews, edited by Plusquam Records. Their frst compilation V.A "Mira" (Nutek Records) Compiled by Green Beats, V.A The Next Mission: Part One (Dub Mission Records). in 2012 they Released their frst album in Nutek Chill called "Cosmic Turtle" and it was a great success for the band. in 2013 they released another V.A "Next Step" Compiled by Green Beats. right after they had a remix release to Suduaya - "Salutation to the Planet" on (Altar Records). in 2014 they released the V.A "Emotional dives" Compiled by Green Beats, V.A Anti Particle ( Organic Groove ) 2015 V.A Resistance Selected By Toxic In Dub (Nutek Chill ) Ishdub - Digital Roots Remixed ( Kupuri Music ). And the new album "The Moon Antidote" (Nutek Chill) in November 2015.

In Focus with us is Adam Wood a.k.a. the BEATFARMER, to harvest some thoughts, passions and sounds growing in his fields.

Beatfarmer, aka Adam Wood, was born in England, and has lived and travelled to many places in the world, taking in the sights and sounds of different cultures and people. He now lives in the woods on a raw, west coast island where his homesteading lifestyle keeps him connected with the earth. This connection shows through his music, which incorporates ethnic and tribal sounds with modern electronic beats capturing the energy and beauty of the world he loves.

Adam's musical training began at an early age with the violin, training at the Suzuki music school. He continued playing classical violin solo and in orchestras through his high school years, when he began experimenting with other instruments and styles. A love of popular music developed in his high school years, and continued into his adult life. In 2005, an intentional dance celebration came to the small island that is Adam's home. It opened his eyes, ears, and heart to a new and beautiful world of electronic music and dance. Beatfarmer dj'd the opening set at the next celebration that came to the island, which gave him a new outlet for his love of music. Since then he has played many shows in the Victoria and south coast intentional dance scenes, and also has become a regular dj at community celebrations on the island as well. He has developed a passion for mixing organic world music with electronic beats and takes great care in crafting his sets for individual shows. In 2009 Adam started producing his own music, a style which he calls tribal trance. Like his Dj sets, his original productions are filled with natural sounds, chanting, and organic percussion, connecting the listener with the traditions of the past, through the sounds of the future. Producing at his off grid island home, he has released 4 full length cds, the last 2 being released on Ovnimoon Records. Mantra was released in 2012, reaching number 6 on psyshop's CD chart and a new downtempo CD entitled "Eye of the Storm" came out in 2014. There is also a growing body of inspired remix work, including his remix of "Carpet Breaker", released on Adham Shaikh's Refractions remix CD and a remix of Khumba Mela for the Desert Dwellers' "Nomadic Ecstatic" ep…

Beatfarmer believes in the power of the trance state to strengthen our spirits and bodies and likes to access this through dance and music. Adam is an active member of the intentional dance community on the south coast. and strives to create opportunities for positive, intentional celebration where people can safely activate their higher self with movement, sound and community. Through dance, we strive to bring an increase in consciousness and awareness though to our daily lives.
Bringing mind, spirit and body together. Combining energy, healing, beauty, balance, organic sounds and ancient incantations, beatfarmer will move your body to dance and your spirit to soar. Whether it's a world fusion set, a deep trance journey, or sacred downtempo… beatfarmer plays for the dancers.

The Nutek Chill episodes continue with a "definite trip for the soul" from Lab's Cloud aka Raul Jordan, a Spanish artist also known for his psytrance project Psycho Abstract.

Raul Jordan is the artist behind the Lab’s Cloud project. Born in 1978 in Valencia (Spain).
Raúl began producing Psychedelic Trance as PSYCHO ABSTRACT with many compilations and three albums in well-known labels as: Novatekk-Global Trance Network, Yellow Sunshine Explosion, Ovnimoon Records, Maharetta Rec, Flying Spores... And after some years, in
2004, Raul starts a new project focused in Ambient & Down Tempo music under the project's name: LAB'S CLOUD.

that make a sublime fusion that culminates into an aural experience. A definite trip for the soul!
The first single "Esmeralda" appears in 2005 in the compilation Chillum 4 (Agitato Records) motivating great interest in many international labels. (All releases bellow).
The live performances is a very important item for Lab’s Cloud, for that reason, Raul makes real live, improvising with synths and adapting the sounds according to the answer of the audience. And also playing some percussions in live.
His style in words of the listeners is: a smooth organic ride, sweet, deep, riding, floating,
beautiful and delicious music oriented to chill outs, with space atmospheres, some chilling
vocals, some ethnic sounds,
and acoustic recordings (percussion, guitars..etc)
Since several years, Raúl is working as R+D engineer, developing professional audio
processors (EQ, Compressors-Limiters, crossover...) for VMB Española. Actually with his
experience as sound engineer is offering his mixing and mastering services (Abstract
Studios), who demand it.

In this 13th edition of Hour of Kush the Gnomes presents UK-based duo SOUNDS FROM THE GROUND

UK duo Elliot Morgan and Nick Woolfson make some of the most stunningly rich, dynamic, bass-heavy downtempo instrumentals on the planet. They are pioneers of ambient dub, an exotic style first championed by defunct UK label Beyond Records and then picked up and continued to this day by North American label Waveform. Although dub in its original form is the tripped-out instrumental flipside of reggae, there is quite often no overtly Jamaican flavour to Morgan and Woolfson's work. The dub element is more in the recording techniques (looping, echo, etc) and lovingly produced basslines that rumble, slide and snake their away around the room with enormous presence. Neither is the duo's take on dub the minimalist approach of modern purists. They concoct soulful, exotic and tuneful widescreen panoramas, wound together with muscular rhythms and big, crisp drum loops that sometimes have a tribal or ethnic edge. Rhythmic downtempo from the psychedelic trance scene owes quite lot to these guys: listen and learn.
Sounds From The Ground don't really belong to any decade or period save an electronic one. Their albums still sound as vital as the day they were released. Any sounds the duo took in from clubland or other circles over the years seems to have been readily absorbed into their arsenal to be used as needed, not because they were trendy at a particular time. DJ Wegha - One of the most successful Hungarian Psytrance artist, whose musical career counts more than twenty years. He first came across this genre in 1996 at a local goatrance party, where he fell in love with the style. In 1998 Wegha’s name first appeared on the lineup of the Halásztelek Party, regarded cultic today as the Hungarian pioneer of open-air party series. After that he becomes one of the permanent actors of the Budapest psychedelic scene and the frequent guest of various big international festivals such as Ozora, Origin, Adhana and many more. Dj Wegha is a member of one of the leading Psytrance label – Future Music Records where he released his first compilation – ‘Tangle Mangle’ in 2018, including tracks by Ajja, Tristan, Imaginarium, Kala and more.
