Forest connection

Xabanga is the Psychedelic Trance project of Greek born, South African Lio Mihos, aimed at delivering a focused and completely accidental musical adventure.
Having played the drums as my main instrument for many years, I am most drawn to rhythmic pattern variation, and because of this I started writing Psychedelic Trance to experiment with rhytmic variation of aggresive electronic music as much as possible!
In addition to this, having studied sound design for film and animation in University, my obsession with replicating sonic realities permeates into this project with a lot of passion 🙂
In this audible experience you will find riding basslines that groove into cheeky rhythmic motifs and aggressive leads, followed by designs in spaces that make no sense at all. The project was signed to Digital Shamans Records (Switzerland) in 2017).
