Hekwapi Records present EARGAZMIK in this episode. Eargazmik is Portuguese artist André Oliveira. When he was around 16, he started playing music instruments (first guitar, then bass and finally learned how to play drums by himself). It was at this time that he developed his great passion for psychedelic and progressive music and bands like Tool, King Crimson, Mastodon, etc. In the past he has played in multiple music bands within several genres, some being progressive rock, metal and so on. One of Russia's oldest DJs, TONAL FANTAZY, began his career in the early 1990s and is recognized as one of the pioneers of the trance movement in Russia. He became a resident DJ at the Aerodance rave center in 1995. In the late 2000s, DJ Tonal Fantazy introduced Moscow to chillgressive, a genre characterized by a slow, steady rhythm enveloped in a deep, intricate pattern. As a resident for Mystic Sound Records, Tonal Fantazy is celebrated for his intuitive ability to identify exceptional trip-trance tracks from around the world and create a magical atmosphere for listeners with a sensual nature and a mature mind. HYPNAGOG presents his fresh remix of "Forever In An Hour" by Käse Kochen and Enrique Lazcano, which has just landed on Stone Seed. His "Forever In An Hour" Exclusive Mix for radiOzora opens with this new remix, and is followed by more of his original psychedelic techno productions. Hypnagog is a musical project of Felix Fractal, AKA Terrafractyl. After years of writing psychedelic dance music and experimenting with plenty of other sonic forms both classical and digital, Felix dived into the worlds of downtempo, breakbeat, IDM and the like. It was time to combine these styles with his own to create some kind of hybrid, beat driven, yet melodic sound. As the project progressed, Felix experimented with jazzy progressive trance, then combined these two styles into what could may be be described as Psychedelic ProgStep. Or not. As always, his music is hard to describe, difficult to put into boxes and has been surprising and exhilarating audiences around the world for many years. Stone Seed is very pleased to welcome this pioneer of psychedelic music to the label family, being the first label in seven years that Hypnagog has released on that’s not his own imprint Kinematic Records.
