Hypnotique Radio 014 features an exclusive DJ set from forest maestro Mark Day!

Born in London, Mark Day was surrounded by music growing up, either playing on the radio which was always on or listening to the soundtracks of video games.
During his teenage years he discovered a whole new world of electronic music, starting with trance and delving into many of the subgenres; he was in love.
After some years of searching the internet he came across the term 'psychedelic music' - the name intergued him so he decided to dig deeper which culminated in him finding an underground psytrance party in London by luck in late 2007.
After a year of going to parties he started to DJ at them and a couple more years later he started to produce his own music.
His psytrance music can be characterized by having a lot of sounds with layers of atmospheres over the top, always driving and with some psychedelic wizardry inside.
Having been lucky enough to have played his music around the world and continuing to do so, he is currently working on his debut album which will be released 'at the right moment'

He is also a listener, collector and occasional producer of downtempo music and has done various mixes throughout the years which have been mainly distributed to close friends.

Jonas Cout is a multi-nstrumentalist from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He graduated in Fine Art with Musical Teachings at UFRJ, and begun his productions on a 4 channel Tascam tape recorder with 13 years old. One of his main characteristic is to produce many different electronic styles with a wild range of BPM from ambient to faster genres always with a free form philosophy. Besides, he mixes many instruments in his production such as electric and classical guitar, flute, bass, tons of recycle percussion and Brazilian traditional ones like cavaquinho and pandeiro.
The musician has released 6 albums, 6 Eps and many single tracks and collabs with big headliners as Salakavala  . Since last year, under the name of “Hongos Longos”, Jonas stared to make some experimental videos to promote his music.
His live performance is another flashy characteristic where the music improvise electronica with played instruments. It has been shown in many great alternative festivals in Brazil like Universo Paralello in Brazil.
All his releases are available for free and he is a member of Random Records, a non-profitable label from Spain where convert all its profits to Indigenous people around the globe via the N.G.O. Survival International.
Another Album is coming soon within only recorded instruments and automation without using any loops and programming. For sure we can expect a big surprise from his new music challenge!

This DJ set is a journey with some of the best Suomisaundi tracks from the label in the last ten years, and other that have not been released yet, with legendary artists like Texas Faggott, Pavel Svimba, Lemon Slide, Scum Unit, Egosentrifug, Mussa Kussa, Sonic Bandits, Räpylät...

Jorge Bazán is DJ and head of Random Records, a non-profit label created exclusively to help projects supporting indigenous communities around the world.
Random was born as a music collective in 2006 in an underground club in the dark city of Edinburgh, following years of events promotion in the Scottish Psytrance scene. In 2010, coinciding with a relocation to Spain, Random transitioned to a record label, launching their first compilation with the idea of raising funds for the indigenous Cofan people of Colombia, through our charitable project called Indigenous S.O.S.
Their label profits always have been donated to NGOs such as Native Planet, the Cofan Survival Fund., Amazon Watch and Feconapia. In recent years they have focused their support on the organization Survival International, working in partnership with tribal peoples to protect their lives and land, as they suffer racism, land theft, forced development and genocidal violence simply for adhering to their traditional way of life.
Since 2010, they have released a wide variety of sounds among which Suomisaundi stands out, with very anarchic and experimental vibe, which can be eclectic or even very melodic, and always with a very positive touch.
Check out the videos of the label's GLOBAL SUOMISAUNDI ONLINE GATHERING , with many creative, fun and memorable performances. From the 13th until the 15th of November, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the label, the next gathering will feature almost 50 artists from all over the world.

Yabba Dabba is the project of Frederick Barwich and Jeremy Quessada, who both grew up on the tropical island of New Caledonia.

Together they explored the psychedelic world, and these experiences helped to develop a strong connection. In 2015 the duo decided to start this project and soon, track after track, it became more and more fun so they kept going. Now, based in France, they shape their groovy deep, and trippy signature sound. After releases on labels such as Namaste Records, Sonica Recordings, and Sangoma. In 2018, they launched their debut EP Disjointed on Sangoma Records.
