Skyle is a musical project by Khavish H Seenundon born in the paradise island, Mauritius.
He had to try and use as few words as possible to keep it short and sweet. During his teenage years, Khavish H Seenundon was aware of electronic music and has a great passion for it. But it was at his early twenties which he have heard something that really impressed him and it was Psytrance which he discovered by some friends and then Khavish H Seenundon was thrown into this amazing feelings and craved about it; it was at this moment this magical awakening for his journey towards Psytrance began with his stage name Skyle.

How did Skyle Djing odyssey begin?
It all started with Forest Psy and Twillight and in the meantime he was in a deep research of the different subgenres of Psytrance. Later on, he was slowed back from Forest Psy and Twillight to Progressive Psytrance and Full On. After few years, he found that his heart lied for Psytech, Zenonesque, Dark Prog, Bush Prog influences. This story and evolution came from many researches of the varied sub-genres of many artists around the world.

Subsequently, Skyle got an excellent opportunity offered by two good friends, where he got the chance to play his first Zenonesque set in a small gathering. From this moment, Skyle has never let go. He has been focusing in mastering his techniques baggage and enhance his tricks of creating storytelling journeys through his sets. Where later on, the efforts have pays off and got opportunities to play alongside with the finest psychedelic DJs in the island organized by Next Level, Fuzzy Concept, Psy Family Mauritius and Oblivion Gathering and sharing the stage with some international act and the local DJs in the island.

He is a versatile DJ by using his own baggage of mixing techniques and tricks to make you experienced spiritual, dark atmospheric, mystic and cinematic during his musical journeys into a deep dive of Psytech, Zenonesque, Forest Prog and Dark Progressive music.
Skyle is in quest and willing to start designing his own tracks very soon.

One of his most impressive artists who inspired Skyle in his musical odyssey was Pspiralife ; the first psytrance artists which he discovered 5 years ago. Back in 2002, in my book about the history of ecological thought, Rising Tides, I alluded to the role that psychedelics might play in eroding the sense of separation between Man and Nature, provoking what biologist EO Wilson called biophilia – “the innate sense of belonging to the natural world.” As US comedian Shane Mauss says in his documentary, Psychonautics, he “never ‘got’ trees and sunsets” before he took psychedelics.
One of the many extraordinary things that psychedelics do, is repress the Default Mode Network (DMN) – a modern scientific term for the ego-self structure, upon which our sense of separation is constellated – and allow the background awareness, or pure consciousness that Buddhists call the Ground of All Being, to come to the fore. The foreground ego goes into the background and the background environment comes into the foreground. Human identification with a limited, personal sense of consciousness, is replaced with a unitive, inclusive experience of an impersonal Consciousness, which connects us with all and everything.
It is no surprise that the ecological movement, plus other egalitarian notions around civil rights and feminism, were provoked by the 1960s counter- culture’s use of these substances. One of the enduring features of the psychedelic experience, as with the classic mystical experience, is precisely that: a re-cognition of oneness, interdependence and interconnection with the rest of nature and indeed the universe itself. It reinforces the notion of the primacy of consciousness – that we are within consciousness itself, it is not something within us, a pure epiphenomenon of the brain that reductionist, materialist science would have us believe. Never have those values been more critical in human history than now, since this inevitably leads to a more co-operative, compassionate and collective understanding of our relationship to nature and our place in the universe.
Rory Spowers is writer, campaigner and event curator, specialising in systems change and consciousness issues.
His books include A Year in Green Tea and Tuk Tuks (HarperElement), covering the creation of Samakanda, an ecological learning centre in south Sri Lanka, and Rising Tides, a history of ecological thought (Canongate), critically acclaimed by the UK Sunday Times, The Observer and a variety of magazines. Most recently, Rory was a Writer on Bruce Parry’s 2017 feature documentary Tawai, and is now Creative Director of the Tyringham Initiative, a world-class think-tank and incubator for new paradigm projects and consciousness studies.

OhmikRon started his DJ-career in the early 2000’s at Tilos Radio, Budapest. In the past years, he became the member of Dubapest HiFi crew and the music group Trojka formed by Alagi, Papa and OhmikRon.

DJ Papa is also a member of the Tilos Radio community and a member of Cökxpôn Ambient Society. He started his DJ career around 2008, and since that time, he presents the Cökxpôn Ambient show on Tilos Radio every Wednesday.

Alagi is a Budapest-based DJ and radio editor. As a DJ, he belongs both to Tilos Radio and Cökxpôn Ambient Society. His most played genres are trip-hop, reggae, dub, chillout, ambient and psychill.

These three DJs form the Chillegal Crew, and this nearly two hours long mix is a part of a 8-hours-long ambient, chill out, trip hop, reggae and dub selection recorded this mid-summer at Gátörház.
