The 10th edition of the monthly Parvati Records Series represents by German veteran psychedelic DJ ILSE.

ILSE was born 1973 as Stephan Ilse in Hamburg / Germany. After school he made his alternative service and massively was infected with the psychedelic virus back in ’91. He realized to work in a regular job as a commercial assistant, which is his regular profession, would not make him happy, and started to visit more and more parties and festivals to decide finally playing on smaller events spreading his idea of psytrance.
In Germany they have a very big scene in nearly every genre, so it was easy for him to find his place in it, even the area he lives in is dominated by the progressive community. According to his frequent work for the Mushroom Magazine in Germany he uses to write reviews for labels known for acid-ridden high end psytrance as well articles for artists and festival reviews. “I feel to invade this magazine with real psychedelics”.

His sets are usually dedicated to the nighttime acid crowd and so he played already with many famous acts and had the pleasure to play on Boom Festival 2006.

Always following the most trippy aspect in psytrance, he uses to like a lot of diverse styles as long its intelligent and versed made, which is to be heard in his sets, so deep groovy morning tunes possible as well as long the trip factor dominates.

Sufi’s Life is an Ambient / Dub Psy Chillout project created by Jovan Tot.
Jovan had an interest in electronic music since the early days, he began his career in 2000 as a techno D.J. but after a few years finds himself in psytrance and ambient music. 10 years later with his best friend Ivan Jovicic create very successful psytrance project Middle Mode which is active today. During the work on Middle Mode Jovan met Slobodan Gaćeša Aka Vertex and a common passion for the slower bits are transformed into projects Merlin & Sufi’s Life.1st Release happened in 2013 on Uxmal Rec, The project is created only with one purpose to rise up vibration of light and love,to bring joy and happines and to bring you in deeper inside journey.

SUFI’S LIFE | On the Way to O.Z.O.R.A. 2016 | 02/04/2016

Frostbite is Miguel Letria (Unretro) and Ricardo Estanislau (Valac), both from Lisbon, Portugal.

Combining both extensive musical knowledge and technical experience, these two friends decided to join forces to bring you a refreshing interpretation of PsyTrance. Their DJ sets take you on a ride ranging from the slower progressive grooves to the more intense psychedelic tunes, showing their versatility, allowing them to be perfectly fit in whatever time slot they’re assigned, while still doing everything to remain true to the essence of the genre.
Since its inception – in 2012 – they have already shared the stage with some of the most sought after international acts, as well as many of their dearest national dj’s. They also have both played for the top event promoters in Portugal such as Samaveda, Crystal Matrix, Space Music Drops, Magic Dreams or Digital Oracle, having also played at the last two editions of Freedom Festival. Frostbite is a part of the South African label One Foot Groove Records where they work as Label and Artist Managers.
2015 saw the release of their first compilation “Travel Agency” to an astounding success, reaching #1 and #4 on Juno Download and Beatport’s respective charts.  In November 2015 they were invited to join the Austrian label 24/7 Records, home to acts such as Materia, Brainiac or Sinerider.
2016 is shaping up to be a massive year for them, with big national and international gigs and another compilation in the works.

sG4rY is an anthropologist, movie maker, freelance-writer, general adventurist and Psytrance-DJ from Bavaria, currently residing in its beautiful capital Munich. He represents the labels Sangoma Records as well as Purple Hexagon Records with his side project Brot3rys together with DJ Merry.

His heavy itchy feet syndrom, his taste in a wide range of styles in Psychedelic Trance and the lust for encountering new like minded psychonauts has led him to perform at events such as Antaris Project (Germany) , Hilltop New Years Eve (Goa/India), Momento Demento Festival (Croatia), Kosmos Festival (Finland), Universal Religion (Nepal), Trimurti Festival (Russia), Waldfrieden Wonderland Festival (Germany), Yaga Gathering (Lithuania) and countless other events around Austria, Cambodia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Greece, India, Italy, Lithuania, Malaysia, Nepal, Russia, Slovakia, South Africa, Switzerland, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey and the Netherlands.
Not being caught in one style or direction, he is constantly trying to discover and fuse different varieties of psychedelic music with the aim of overcoming musical boundaries that had been created in people’s minds due to the musical fragmentation happening nowadays in the Psychedelic Trance Movement. Creating a journey sui generis for his listeners is his biggest aspiration. Psychedelic Trance has to be approached from different angles, using the many colorful vibrations it offers. Therefore, sG4rY likes to play sets as long as possible in order to draw from the different musical influences he gets from befriended artists, musicians and freaks around the globe. Nightly journeys that dissolve towards the first glimpses of the new day as well as sending the crowd into the night with a powerful kick off, or even sunny variations with non-cheesy hypnotic daytime trance are all part of his repertoire. He loves that special energy during sunrise and sunset on the dancefloor and tries to use it for involving the crowd into a flow of certain feelings and sensations, sometimes humorous, sometimes gloomy or filled with deep emotions. His numerous various artist releases over the years on different labels mirror this passion for musical variety and expression.

sG4rY furthermore decided together with his Brother-from-anotha-Motha DJ Merry:) to launch a DJ-project called Brotherys. Since 2010, they play their mixture of of powerful, deep and groovy Night Stuff and lysergical Forest Sounds for dancefloors around the globe and have compiled both Brotherys Balderdash Compilation, released on Purple Hexagon Records.

Next to his involvement in the two labels Sangoma Records and Purple Hexagon Records, sG4rY is also an active part of the Gaggalacka Festival, which will celebrate its 15th anniversary in the late summer of 2016.

As the result of Profound Records and radiOzora’s newborn cooperation, we’re proudly present the labels’ newbie ZATZAK.

With an artistic drive to create music encoded in its DNA, Sergio Borges born in 1990 in Spain decides to create Zatzak in 2013. After months searching the style for “zatzak”, he made a style of music with heavy, fat bass lines, mechanical rhythms and deep grooves to convey your feelings to the dance floor!

He joined Indian based psytance label Profound Records in 2015 and made his debut worldwide in Februray 2016 with EP named “Zero”. 2016 seems to be very promising with his few singles ,remix and collaboration scheduled to be released in coming months.

Some of you may already know Freddy ‘Algorika’, as half of French duo ‘Land Switcher’; where he has already seen success, touring and releasing music all over the world. But he is no newcomer to producing trance music, with over 10 years experience to build on, he has been captivated since his introduction by his brother. Freddy’s sound has since grown from its morning full on roots to a deeper, darker and overall more technical middle groove style.
With many psychedelic experiences behind him and through investment in his other project, he has seen a great period of evolution and refined his own take on the music which first inspired him.
After the success of his debut collaboration with James West, featured on Hatta’s ’Round of Night’ series, Freddy now joins the Grasshopper records crew, to showcase his music to a global audience.

Here comes the introduction of a hungarian psychedelic artist and organiser; Nasgul aka Alien Hardware.
He has been loving music since he knows his mind. He had a long journey started with classical heavy metal touched many kinds of rock music than met up electronica and many kind of breaks.
Those days he started performing as a drum and bass dj..
The biggest influence that made him produce his own music was dark psychedelic trance!

Nasgul met darkpsy in 2007 through KinDzaDza and Silent Horror and after a long year getting influence he started to create his own ideas!
He likes everything in the style but prefers to start a set from the deep dark woods than go higher and higher to outerspace high-tech madness.
He represents this point of view in two different project as well.
Nasgul stands for slower deeper and nature influenced style.
Alien Hardware is for fullpower spaceblasting psychedelica on high bpm. Both projects includes many other influences from hardcore drumandbass, japanese classical music or tribal sounds from the ancient times..
He wants to build up complex sonority on his powerful basslines.

A tasteful monthly selection of contemporary music mixed by Almond Lama and Disandat, two siblings in two capitals. Beats, grooves and melodies around 120 BPM in 120 minutes.

ALMOND LAMA hailing from Szeged, Hungary founder and manager of alloyed.net a loose group of individuals, promoters, DJs, producers, visual artists intended to create socially integrated audio-visual experiences for a wide audience. Himself actively contributing as DJ, promoter and visual artist in Budapest, Hungary and London, Britain. His actions wether its playing or managing promotion duties are based on a mix of passion, attitude, precision, creativity and human spirit. Musically would be a more appropriate approach to describe him via sounds from dub across deep to a touch of hypnotic tech rather than sticking to genres.
DISANDAT (Gabor Halasz, 1987) was born in southern Hungary’s sunny and beautiful Szeged. Co-founder and Manager of alloyed.net, a collaboration between him, his brother and like-minded artists. Working alongside local talents and international artists alloyed.net hosts many unique club nights, warehouse parties in Budapest and London since 2009 (Sonus at Lumen, KoMA,Above Zero, Last Minute). 
Gabor has always been attracted to sounds that describe and set feelings, being influenced first by his father’s old records like Kraftwerk, Jean – Michelle – Jarre and Pink Floyd, passion for both technology and music leads him on a discovery through electronic music. Buys his first vinyl when 17 and soon becomes an everyday visitor at local record shops. After finishing high school he moves to Budapest where he holds regular guest appearances at Tilos Radio, and has the chance to play on one of the capitals most well know club nights called Rewind.
In 2008 relocating to London, UK brings him new experiences and a different prospective on music and life, focusing on slow more hypnotic grooves infused with evolving atmospheric sounds and genres like deep & dub techno, house and electronica. 
In 2012 he starts off his first London project called Above Zero a monthly sunday daytime terrace party held at The Light Bar in Shoreditch, with guests like Patrick Zigon, Alex Celler, Luke Solomon, Jay Bliss and Jordan Peak.

Sofa Beats is back with its 5th edition, this time compiled and mixed by a veteran from Cyprus, JOHNNY BLUE.

Johnny Blue comes from Cyprus. He started dj-ing 16 years ago. His first influence was rock and especially psychedelic rock (Pink Floyd, Ozric Tenatcles etc). In 2000 he got into the electronic scene with the main interest in chill out and psychedelic trance music. Being influenced by several music cultures (rock, dub, reggae, electronica, psy-trance, chillout), Johnny created a unique style by blending smoothly various styles of music, sending the listeners to a colourful and sensational journey through sounds. Johnny is one of the senior representatives on the launch, establishment and uprising of Cyprus’ psychedelic music scene.
In 2011 Johnny joined Mikelabella Records and he works as A/R Manager. His first VA compilation under the name “Planet Blue” was released on December 2012 and VA blue moon in April 2014. In early 2013 he became a label DJ in Peak Records. Also, he is a resident DJ at Digitally Imported Psychill (di.fm/psychill) with his radio series “Psylent Harmony” which is broadcasted every third Sunday. Johnny Blue has various international appearances in countries like UK, Germany, Portugal, Croatia , Morocco, Turkey and Russia among others, presenting dj sets in parties and festivals like Boom, Antaris, Lost Theory, Transahara, Mo:Dem, Psy Fi and more.
