UNIVERZUM | 24/7 Records Series Vol.16 | 03/05/2016

Sangoma Records is back with Greece descent London-based duo INGRAINED INSTINCTS. This 9th edition is a special two-in-one show: their set made exclusively for radiOzora also has its place in the ‘On the Way to Ozora 2016’ series, because they’re playing on the Ozorian Main Stage this August. Ingrained Instincts is a unique project consisting of Tilemachos Vlachos, and Dafy Deliangelos, originally from Greece, but residing in London. Both have shared the same passion for Psychedelic music since their very early days. They met in 2001, formed a project together, and started to develop a different sound, but one totally sympathetic to the scene, and yet wholly psychedelic, and funky!
After many years of experimentation, the Ingrained Instincts project was born. Their sound could be described as an amalgamation of many variations which don’t fit in one box – definitely different and organic sounding. For their production they use analogue as well as digital hardware, and are about to build their own modular system. Tilemachos also has a downtempo project called “Escape Velocity”, with releases on Spiral Trax, and Eardream Music amongst other labels. Ingrained Instincts so far released on Goa Productions, BMSS and are now signed with Sangoma Records.
This is one project you have to keep an ear out for, because before you know it you’ll be dancing away. Uncontrollably! It’s infectious.

Breaking through sensory limits, then inducing people on dancefloor to contemplative deep state of mind, his dj set are based in tracks with psychedelic elements and introspective in a cosmic fusion through music ritual progressive and visionary, providing an unique experience by a mental dissociation and trance. A teen in the eighties, with dodgy haircuts to match, he saw Kraftwerk supported by the Human League on the Computer Love tour (he even got to play the calculator for a brief moment) , and straightaway fell in love with electronic music.
AUDIOGLIDER’s first break came with two exclusive tracks on Nick Warren’s GU30 Paris, to much critical acclaim, quickly followed by two EPs, Halcyon and Slight Return and remixes on Glenn Morrison’s digital label Morrison Recordings. Since then, it’s been a blur of releases and remixes on Renaissance, Sudbeat, Stripped Recordings, 238W, Hydrogen, Soundteller, Mistique, Stellar Fountain, Sleepless Nights, ASIP, and of course a full artist album, Accidental Beauty, on Tripswitch’s mighty Section Records. Straddling with equal aural dexterity between progressive house / dancefloor vibes, and more shoegaze /downtempo excursions, Audioglider is preparing to release his second full album, returning to Section’s stable for late May/June release. Entitled Subaquamarine, its a widescreen, wide ranging affair, and you can hear a couple of previews in his set for radiOzora.

ZSIGA BERNATHY, member of Hungary’s legendary underground acid house LIVE act family, LOVEBARIKAD of the early nineties is on his way to O.Z.O.R.A. Festival 2016.

November 1994. Formation of Bernáth/Y & Son [using exclusively analog instruments – synthesizers, drum machines]  end of 1994 live act at FMKand Fáklya Klub (Hungary) summer of 1996  Loveparade, Berlin (as the first Hungarian performers ever)   end of 1997 establishment of Supersonic Technikum, the very first Hungarian electronic underground music club…  November 2009 [combining digital and analog technology] live act at Hypnosis’s Blast From the Past event (Merlin Club), at the VOLT Festival, and at the BalatonSound   13 January 2012 – the end of en era  Bernáth/Y Sándor, father and fellow artist passed away  March 2012 – Bernáthy Zsiga Live: Supersonic, Deadcode & Friends, VOLT, BalatonSound…

“…his biography is closely intertwined with the life of his father, Sándor Bernáth (or Sándor Bernáth/Y, as he was known in the world of electronic music), who passed away on 13 January 2012. They not only formed a complete unit on stage as the Bernáthy & Son live act project, but have also worked together as artists and graphic designers. For this reason, Zsiga carries on his father’s intellectual heritage genetically (too).” (citation from an interview made in the spring of 2012, published on www.Soundhead.hu)

  Zsiga is neither a DJ, nor a ‘music fabricator ‘– he is a LIVE ACT artist. When he performs, he plays his own music live through the simultaneous use of the newest software and the oldest synthesizers (Ableton Live, iPad, iPhone, and among many other vintage stuff, the 30-years-old TB303 BassLine). The sounds produced with these vintage synths, the never-ending chains of his own loops and grooves intertwoven make every one of his live acts a one-off, spontaneous and unrepeatable show full of improvization. This has been the essence of every Bernáth/Y & Son performances during the past 20 years and this is what Zsiga decided to continue now in solo.  His style is electronic, dynamic and psychedelic – a rich mixture of techno, trance, acid, psy and breakbeat, but without a fixed recipe or scenario. The final musical experienxe is always dependent on the interactions of the audience and the artist there and then, when Zsiga is on stage.  No doubt that his father’s charismatic personality determined Zsiga’s life – however, this only meant a lot more faith, love and freedom. Fine Arts High School and Arts University, then a shared graphic design business with his father, the Solid, and then Zsiga’s own VJ-team, the Urbanizer all evidence the diversity of his artistic talent. Exhibitions, videos, posters, book covers are all examples of his self-expression. Although music is becoming more and more dominant lately: working and composing is continuous, as there is always something to give and say. And as long as an artist feels like this, he just can not keep quiet.

Axial Tilt is a new music produced by Flavio Ferreira (Xpiral and Sychotria), that comes to “tilt” your mind in a positive vibration, with themes that take you to a journey into the vibrating energy from our planet Earth. The project have played in the major festivals and partyes in Brazil, Europe and this year went to USA for the first time. He has joyned Looney Moon team since the beginning, inpired by all crew and music experience they have together. His first EP “Obliquity” was very big success on digital stores and after that he got some releases around other friend’s labels . AXIAL TILT | Looney Moon Records Series Vol.7 | 11/05/2016

The 6th edition of Iono Records‘ showcase will be performed by one of the most famous Serbian producers Marko Radovanovic a.k.a. E-CLIP.

The sun and the moon have always been perceived as opposites; the sun is the active, rational, masculine and materialistic part of the world which happens during day time, while the moon is the dark, crazy, feminine and mysterious part of the world which occurs during the night time. There is one magical moment when these opposites unite into one incredible phenomenon, which merges the characteristics of these binary entities – Solar Eclipse.
Marko Radovanovic, from Belgrade, Serbia, took the essence of the Solar Eclipse and transformed it into a musical phenomenon that mixes the sun and night aka his alter ego – E-Clip. Along the way, he polished his precision and beat skills while he was playing as a drummer in Hardcore and New Age bands. And as a new star in the celestial sphere of Progressive Trance he absorbed a lot of inspiration from artists such as Jean Michel Jarre, Pink Floyd, Klaus Shultze and Astral Projection. The big change for Radovanovic was similar to the process of Solar Eclipse; where the moon decides he wants to follow the sun’s fire and hot atmosphere. Radovanovic fell in love with the heat and energy of the other side of the decks of the Psychedelic Trance parties, and made his move. Thus, soon after he entered the psychedelic world in 2002, he started to produce music as well.

His first experiment was under a different more Full-Onish alter ego, named Beyondecliptica, and with it he released his debut album in 2008, ‘Groove technologies’, in the Greek label Medusa. Then Radovanovic realized it was time to undermine nature’s course and bring E-Clip to the world in 2009. Since that moment of creating his unique manifestation, he released music in various labels including: Blue Tunes, Spin Twist, Oxygen, Prog On Syndicate, Yellow Sunshine Explosion. Of course Iono Music spotted his magical influences and joined him to the family. His recent EP ‘Press Hold’ at Iono that came out in November 2011 is just a taste of the many trips he will make on the orbit of the sun while inviting the moon to join occasionally.

E-CLIP | Iono Music Showcase #6 | 12/05/2016

Joining us for a little talk in this Before Party session is one of the guest artists of goa.hu and Y-Production’s season opening party at Vituki in Budapest on May 14, Martin Knecht aka HUMAN ELEMENT, followed by a special mix made for radiOzora.

Music, melodies and beats are mostly done by technological devices these days. But what makes the sound really penetrate your skin, bones and mind, is the Human Element. This magical potion cannot be explained in words. It is that spirit, vibe or atmosphere that only once you hear it you know, a sonic bliss.
For Martin Knecht, from Zurich, Switzerland, this journey of making sonic spells began in a very early age, as he was experimenting with his human senses to make music. He started using his voice in choirs as a young boy, learning tempo and rhythm, and then developed his other senses while playing the piano and guitar. But it wasn’t only knowing how to produce music that fascinated Martin, he also wanted to know how to connect between tunes and create a flowing harmony. Constantly listening to the radio, Martin would record songs and then craft mix-tapes which gave him an instinct and intuition of a DJ.

Completely devoted to his mission to be immersed with music, at 14, Martin spent all his money he earned on DJ equipment. He was hooked. He practiced for several years, experimenting and pushing the limits of these machines, along with his acquired musical experience, in order to see how he can bring his Human Element. But another inspirational turning point happened which completes the background story – in 1996 as Martin first listened to Sasha and John Digweed’s Northern exposure, it was love at first sound. From that moment on, it was clear to him that these melodic progressive sounds will become an inseparable part of his artistic voyage. Things moved fast from there – a residency at the Labyrinth club in Zurich and getting gigs all over Europe paved his way up.

Martin’s musical path diverges into three main directions: his main project as Human Element, his more downbeat and chill-out grooves under Mikrokosmos, and his other alias, DJ Martin, where he gets to play and juggle with Progressive Psy. Between 2006-2011, Martin was running the label Mikrokosmos together with Nicola Capobianco, aka Liquid Soul, and they also formed the Progressive project Earsugar. In 2010 he released his first EP as Human Element – Breaking the 4th Wall, and since then he kept on shaping and exploring new frontiers in his creation. Rocking countless parties and festivals such as Boom festival (Portugal), Sunshine festival (Japan), Fusion festival (Germany) and Universo Parallelo (Brazil) marked him as a necessary element in every party. The Russian-Ukrainian duo of Alexander Ala Kato Trufanov & Andrew Okujah Averin, together known as LACERTA, are back on Forestdelic Records series.

Green lizard (Latin Lacerta) – genus of lizards of the family of these lizards.
Large lizard: body size to 70-160 mm. Spina adults often have a bright green background color, the belly yellowish, young lizard white. There is sexual dimorphism in the color of the back.

In mystical teachings, which is owned and shamanism, with its inherent totems, the lizard is always referred to as “satellite shaman.” Itself, as a totem, it carries a lot of different magical qualities, it is – a useful totem

The lizard wakes in man the ability to easily and safely be suspended from all that burdens us. It can help to break with the past. Help Lizards – the shadow side of reality, where dreams are considered before a person decides to exercise them physically.
