Episode Nine is an hour long imaginary soundtrack of a fascinating ritual, a mesmerizing adventure from the hypnotic state to the phase of sudden attacks. The visionary mind behind this haunting mix is Marco Mentale aka Mental, a true ozorian who has been doing his best for the stage of Dome in Josko’s team for long years.

Mental is the head of Visionary Mind, a label/collective from in and out Budapest. He curates the label driven morning slot at Pumpui stage too. Mental has been collecting music since he has memory and for a few years now and he’s been very supportive in the development of alternative stages at a few psychedelic festivals around the world.

Crimson's comment on the show: The two young friends behind the almost banal and wickedly waggish name have been treating the scene with spirited sets for some time past. Their duo musically is definitely one of the most unleashed characters of the night and cherished by many from the old school to the new generation. Knowing their multiple taste in music from minimal to cosmic house and techno or sneaky breaks to announce them with a dedicated Pink Eyed Blue episode two years after their only appearance on radiozora.fm is an absolute delight for me.

Max Sinclair is a Budapest based DJ, but most people know him as the co-owner and force behind the Dalmata Daniel record label. Their international roster is very vibrant and full of artists such as Intergalactic Gary, Pasiphae, J.Mono, Cardopusher, Roberto Auser and exciting local newcomers. I am sure that Max's hardcore punk background explains his supportive and strenuous attitude and why his projects quickly became an integral and precious part of the Budapest scene. His smart A&R and conceptual thinking also reflects in his own club nights sharing the booth with local figures or even favourites from Bordello A Parigi to Black Merlin. Max Sinclair is now inducted to Pink Eyed Blue series with an emotionally tense episode, a great taster of his toxic new beat and cold synthwave universe.

Super Italo is the only Hungarian italo disco page and party series. Superitalo is the stage alias of the duo behind the straight name who are the most precise experts and excellent selectors of italo disco I’ve ever met. Their exhaustive and passionate articles, posts and conceptual parties are scattered bits of a beautiful story of an often misinterpreted and undervalued subculture. Now they reveal a mainly unknown layer of the genre and fit another mosaic to the whole picture known as italo disco. Here is the boys’ commentary to the insanely good mix:  “If you think of italo-disco, 'dark' is not the first thing that comes to mind. True, this - often misunderstood, yet highly influential - genre is by nature almost the antithesis of darkness. Almost, as there are a few really gloomy gems hidden under all the felicità of its surface if you dig deep enough. For this mix we dug out what we think are the darkest italo-disco tracks - some of which were incidentally the product of the period's buzzing Italian dark/minimal wave scene. This was definitely a challenge to make, yet we hope it will not be a challenge to listen to.”

Imre Kiss is back into the series alongside DJ Crimson with a two and a half hour live recording taken from the latter's dizzy, spaced out Bad Hair Mixes night at Edith, Budapest. It was one of the most beloved parties for the guys in 2021, shifting the mood with a heavy dose of house music for the first time in the history of Crimson & Kiss sessions and swinging in and out of the hallucinogen acid, electro and disko vibes. Live experience brings some messy mixes, but never breaks the flow and the passion is hot and steady till the end.

Although he is a pretty well known psytrance DJ, who has toured the world around in the past years, the music he plays under his TSU moniker offers a new spectrum of exciting and unusual sounds. A few words about him from the host, DJ Crimson:
I have always considered DJ Mesterházy one of the most independent and exciting figures of the hungarian electronic music scene who always had a huge impact on his contemporaries and the next generations of djs. His attitude and the extremely wide range of his musical palette from abstract electronica through cosmic electro and acid to cinematic ambient textures always shaped a strong unit of the entertaining and the unexpected. A unique phenomenon and sound, which I've rarely experienced in Hungary, always amazed me wherever I saw him on stage in the last 20+ years: he was able to be equally memorable in a tiny club with a smoked out jazzy set and in a concert hall before the Psychic TV with a shocking experimental selection. So, this is DJ Mesterházy with the fifth episode of Pink Eyed Blue, undoubtedly a show you can't miss!

MESTERHÁZY | Pink Eyed Blue Ep. 5 | 12/11/2020

After the first five episodes of gloomy and dazed romanticism with hints of cold and even disturbing sonics, Pink Eyed Blue is about to serve you with something special, an almost 3 hour long, never-published live recording from VLADIMIR IVKOVIC's archives.

Producing the series was heavily influenced by the works of certain artists, djs and Vladimir Ivkovic is undoubtedly one of the most important amongst them. The co-founder of Düsseldorf's Salon Des Amateurs and resident of the 20/44 club in Belgrade is one of the most respected and singular DJs in Europe for the last few years. His long, sonically adventurous, sometimes challenging sets are devoted by the ones who starve for something extraordinary on the dancefloor and beyond.
It is with great excitement and honour that I share with you this deep cut that Ivkovic offered us from his archive. An artifact from a not-so-distant era and a slightly new shade of his dj craft. We've only met twice but his always peaceful presence and encouraging character made it easy to invite him. Having Vladimir as a guest on the show was a dream come true .

Vladimir Ivkovic was born and raised in Belgrade, Yugoslavia.
Witnessing the peak of alternative culture and disintegration of the society in his formative years.
Moved to Germany in the beginning of the 90’s, in the late 90’s early 00’s invited artists like Carlos Souffront, I-F. I-G, Marco Passarani, Serge (amongst others) to play Selected and Substance events.
Long time resident at the infamous Salon des Amateurs in Düsseldorf and the man behind Offen Music, a label specialized in authentic subjectivism. One of the finest selectors of hidden musical gems, he gleans from the most cloistered sonic lagoons – expect to see Loch Ness’s dragon dancing on the floor.

This is the seventh episode of Pink Eyed Blue with Zefyr and it is not going to be a sunshine pleasure pill, but an excellent experience.

Zefyr has been collecting and playing records since the mid '90s. He was one of the earliest residents of the cult Optimal crew and their show on the legendary Tilos Radio. Nowadays he is mainly acknowledged for his essential contribution to the proper underground Külvárosi Techno parties as DJ, but Zefyr is connecting to the contemporary cultural life on many levels. He is a Butoh dance activist and performer and searching visual art, design as PhD  just to name a few. Although he is a gorgeous techno selector his musical palette offers more. Minimal wave, ambient, experimental or industrial music are also indispensable elements of his sets. Conjuring up the mysterious, dark or even disturbing atmosphere was always the strength of his sonic adventures that exposed the otherworldly beauty of the challenging materials.

Switch Nollie is a young friend of mine, a notable selector of his generation with a yet short but impressive history behind the decks. He is the co-founder of the avantgarde dj posse named Torso and a creative member of the Budapest based MMHM promoter crew. A resident kneedeep in leftfield music with the former one and a contemporary househead with the latter starring hip nights or supporting local acts and international guests regularly.
