SG4RY is an anthropologist, general adventurist, humorist, academic scholar and psychedelic trance DJ with more than one decade of international experience, residing in Bavaria's beautiful capital Munich. He represents the labels Sangoma Records as well as Purple Hexagon Records with his side project Brot3rys together with DJ Merry. Creating a journey sui generis for his listeners is his biggest aspiration. Psychedelic Trance has to be approached from different angles, using the many colourful vibrations it offers. Therefore, sG4rY likes to play sets as long as possible in order to draw from the different musical influences he gets from befriended artists, musicians and freaks around the globe. This mix starts with a rather high bpm and slowly builds down towards the "usual" range of Sangoma Records.

MoDem Festival‬ in Croatia is widely considered one of the best, and most important, festivals on the psytrance calendar. It’s influence on the festival scene cannot be understated. When I started making this music, I promised myself that, before I was 30, I wanted to play on the Hive stage. Well, 5 days before my 30th birthday, I had the honour of doing just that. It did not disappoint, and it was the best dancefloor I have ever had the privilege of experiencing.

I decided early on that this was where I was going to debut my new album (forthcoming soon on Bom Shanka Music) and record the entire set. So, here it is – the full video of my set on Thursday 8th August 13:30-15:00 on the Hive.

Thank you to everyone that danced, everyone that filmed and everyone that gave me emotional support in the stress of finishing the tracks before the gig! REBORN, a project by Faraz Radmehr from Tehran, Iran whose journey into psytrance and electronic music began in India in 2012. After he had attended many Psytrance and Electronic music parties and festivals mainly held in Goa, India for almost 11 years while living there, he decided to make his own music by producing and experimenting various genre of music. The result of years of self-thought production is something very unique and rare in music market which brought the attention to him so quickly. Presently he creates his own unique style of electronic music which includes touches of Psytrance, Progressive Trance and Full On. Currently his main focus is on Psytrance.
