In this edition we present new album 'Latibule' from Ekorce, who's joining us for a chat before the mix. Ekorce is a psychedelic downtempo project by French producer Kyrian Nicolay-Kritter, about telling stories with organic sounds, hypnotic melodies, broken rhythms and deep sub basses. Inspired by psychedelic music for many years, he launched the project Ekorce in 2015. Between 2018 and 2020 he released an EP and an album on Merkaba Music. At the end of 2020 he joined the international downtempo collective Shanti Planti and released his EP “Imago”, elected best EP of 2020 by the psybient.org community. Alongside his music journey, he completed a PhD in Neurosciences in early 2021 and then he fully focused on his next album “Latibule” for almost a year, releasing it now in early 2022. Psychedelic Jelly presents JAE NIMBUS with a live set featuring some of his favourite tunes that he's made from over the years. Jae Nimbus is a unique mixture of glitchy bass, mid-tempo, broken beats and breakbeat infused with dubby and world electronica, having released on such labels as Liquid Records, Luminus Music, Colony Productions, Shanti Planti and many more. Based in Brighton, Jae's a familiar face at psychedelic events around the UK, rocking the downtempo or alternative stages with his unique blend of styles.

It's too easy for an artist to overthink the release of new music, which often results in hoarding it from the world for far too long.  I find myself at a juncture in my personal life where i can no longer live as if there is any amount of time guaranteed in this body, where i can no longer afford to take things for granted or resist action for fear of the outcome.  We have this beautifully delicate opportunity to live, love, and express, and it is our duty to seek our potential through all of our connections, words, thoughts, and actions.  I am learning to release attachment, surrender expectation, and accept things as they are, and i'd like to reflect that through my music.  So with this offering, this music is no longer "mine" but belongs to anyone who may find it useful in aiding growth, joy, dance, introspection, flow, love-making, intra and interpersonal connection, and any other facet of your life.
