EARTHLING | Dubmission Records Series Ep. 52 | 03/07/2024

FLUIDUM and Zakhorov are two emerging artists of Budapest's underground electronic music scene. 
As part of Totem Tribe's event series, they joined forces through a hybrid set with live instruments and broken rhythms of around 130 bpm to complement the DJ booth.

Recently, they have released their debut individual tracks, "tumult" [FLUIDUM] and "Meltdown" [Zakhorov], as part of the compilation album "BLSN001VA", envisioned by the Blue Sun label.

About this mix, HARMONIUSZ says: "In this set, I combined Traktor with Ableton. For Traktor, I played using four channels with stems, while in Ableton, I used a drum machine and primarily drum samples from the other eight channels. This DJ mix was recorded in my home studio." Harmoniusz is a DJ and bass guitarist who has recently joined the Krakow collective Egodrop. Privately known as Mariusz Gil, he began his musical journey playing bass guitar before developing a passion for DJing.  Since 2011, Harmoniusz has been performing on stage and collaborating with DJs. His meticulous approach to music is evident in his attention to detail and his commitment to crafting intricate nuances. He is known for his precise, mathematical soundscapes, which create a specific and cohesive musical journey. Hypnagog is a musical project of Felix Fractal, AKA Terrafractyl. After years of writing psychedelic dance music and experimenting with plenty of other sonic forms both classical and digital, Felix dived into the worlds of downtempo, breakbeat, IDM and the like. It was time to combine these styles with his own to create some kind of hybrid, beat driven, yet melodic sound. As the project progressed, Felix experimented with jazzy progressive trance, then combined these two styles into what could may be be described as Psychedelic ProgStep. Or not. As always, his music is hard to describe, difficult to put into boxes and has been surprising and exhilarating audiences around the world for many years. This is a recording of PSARA's DJ set at The Market of ZNA Gathering in Portugal, July 2024. DJ Psara, a resident at ZNA, is known for her eclectic sets of both classic and new Psychedelic Goa Trance and Psychedelic Techno. Her journey began with the Goadelic Freaks Movement in 2013, which gained momentum until 2019. Psara became recognized in Belgium in 2013, joining Cronomi Records as a label DJ, scout, and Art Director. From 2015 to 2018, she was part of the Zion 604 Israeli label roster.  After performing at ZNA 2019 and Tribal Gathering 2020, Psara expanded her style to include psychedelic techno, folktronica, ambient, and downtempo deep house, incorporating live synths and acoustic instruments. The pandemic allowed her to return to the studio, where she now produces new music as Mysticeti. In 2022, she joined the Portugal Conscious Movement as a musician, Ecstatic Dance DJ, and Space Holder, focusing on facilitating self-discovery through music and dance.
