This Sahman Records episode brings you AKRATAS with this live set with tracks from all his latest releases. Akratas is the psytrance project of Nicolas, a dj/producer based in Stockholm, Sweden. A musician at heart, he learned to play guitar at an early age traveling through different genres like metal, funk and jazz. He found love for psychedelic trance by attending rave parties in the Swedish forests. The music and the rebellious and insubordinate spirit of the Swedish scene captivated him. Akratas tries to express the same disobedient attitude in his music. His tracks are hard-hitting, explosive and energetic. A full on psychedelic journey for the late night hours. ACE VENTURA - CHRISTMAS SELECTION VOL. 9 MIX

This episode of the Sonic Loom Downtempo series @ Radiozora takes a deep dive into STEFAN TORTO ’s musical world, driven by cinematic landscapes and magical harmonies, overflowed by intelligent beats & tribal rhythms. Born in Athens and self-educated in guitar, piano, percussion and music technology, Stefanos Tortopoglou (aka Stefan Torto) has been involved in various forms of electronic and natural sound from the age of 7.  As a composer-sound designer he has composed music for mapping projection, campaign videos, hologram and virtual reality presentations of major companies such as Nike, Redbull, Heineken, Microsoft, Vodafone, Samsung, National Geographic and many more.  In addition, as a stage musician and as a sound designer, he has participated in theatrical performances of the National Theatre Of Greece and other productions, touring in ancient Greek theatres and worldwide.  Several of his tracks have been released in music compilations and used for film/short film productions worldwide.  Also Co-founder and composer of the Zen Garden and Dreamakers multi performance projects. Finally, as a sound designer he researched and created sound libraries and musical software instruments for major(VST/AU).

Yabba Dabba is the project of Frederick Barwich and Jeremy Quessada, who both grew up on the tropical island of New Caledonia.

Together they explored the psychedelic world, and these experiences helped to develop a strong connection. In 2015 the duo decided to start this project and soon, track after track, it became more and more fun so they kept going. Now, based in France, they shape their groovy deep, and trippy signature sound. After releases on labels such as Namaste Records, Sonica Recordings, and Sangoma. In 2018, they launched their debut EP Disjointed on Sangoma Records.
