2024 will mark ALEX's 30 years of DJing in the electronic dance music scene. He started to dig in his audio archives to find some exclusive things to share with you like DJ mixes, live sets etc. This is a rare and previously unpublished mix found on a cdr, recorded in 2005 from fresh vinyl records of this particular year season. Eclectic techno at its best, some tunes in this mix paved a road to many new genres, like melodic techno, etc. and inspired many artists to switch from the "formula" to a more leftfield dance music territory, refreshing and merging all styles in one. Alex Tolstey, DJ, record producer and director of Boshke Beats Records, which has been blending techno with trance, electro with acid house and other undefined electronic dance music styles for almost two decades (since 2001). Producing music as Triangle Eyes ( with ZV_K), The Rockitmen and Triple Distilled and working with such acts as X-Dream, The Delta, Extrawelt, Eitan Reiter, Fuzzion, to name a few, made Alex a well known producer and executor of so many albums and tunes you know. At the current moment except his Boshke Beats activities, Alex is running Horns and Hoofs Entertainment and Gravity Plus Records labels (X-Dream’s official label). He also plays psychedelic trance under Acid Black moniker and electro breaks and left field dance electronica as Triple Distilled.

Tor.Ma in Dub emerged from the psytrance movement around 2006, you can notice it in his sonic style: a kaleidoscopic montage of dub filtered through the psychedelic realms. This creates a new, dark, trippy, hypnotic, bass-driven and twisted interpretation of steppers dub. Come aboard, but come prepared — there is no turning back once this hallucinatory journey begins. Its like roots stepper dub with a psychedelic pinch.

PSYDEWISE is In Focus with us this time with a live set focusing on his latest projects, a much more refined production, as he says, compared to his earlier material. Born in Cape Town, South Africa during the late 80s, Psydewise was fortunate enough to grow up with a wide selection of alternative music introduced to him by his weird and wonderful parents. He was introduced to psychedelic trance by his aunt, who used to make mini discs with all the latest vinyl at the time, like Infinity Project, Hallucinogen, GMS, Infected Mushroom, Grapes of Wrath, Cosma, Atomic Pulse, Antix and Artefact were just a few that really rewired and inspired him! After moving to the UK and meeting people who were using Ableton Live, was the first time he used the program and was hooked. He taught himself most of what he knows today but it would never have been possible without the incredible collective knowledge of out beautiful psychedelic trance community!

Born into a family where both his mother and brother are skilled musicians. David Hellquist from Gothenburg, Sweden has always found that music/sound was his main focus in life. Starting in the year of 2008 with electronic music, he felt an eager to create twisting sounds and noises that had been bugging his head and only when he felt he accomplished it he could find peace of mind. The tunes may vary from Dark Progressive/Psygressive with a “twisted-tech-glitch”-touch to different E.D.M genres such as Techno, Minimal, Deep/Tech and House.
