In this month’s episode the host, ROLAND HANDRICK’s guest is peter helecz from Hungary, who is bringing you his brand new mix, titled Sinapsis.

The radio show’s called Atmospherica Exotica aimed to present another side of techno through my own and guest mixes, focusing on more atmospheric and sophisticated trends. My first Ozorian experience had a great influence on me, both musically and atmopsherically, this is why I started diving deeper into the soundscapes I heard there and which inspired this show.

I was born in 1983,and i started listen to music in my early years…I heard techno music for the first time at the age of 10 in Germany.My mother is german,and in the 90’s we were travelling 3 times a year her family, that’s why i was able to hear techno music so early.Listening to Chris Liebing’s and Anja Schneider’s radio shows was a good starting point of my musical journey.I was able to hear all kind of electronic music,techno,house,drum’n”bass etc,so i was developing my “musical” self vey soon.Collecting dj mixes,compilations and also tracks in any style of music was a straight way to start my dj and music career.So in 2000 i start to collect vinyls,buy turntables,a mixer and learn mixing it together.In the first 3-4 years i was playing in my hometown in little pub’s and clubs,then we start to organize own partys with a friend,so we were able to book some of the top techno and house djs,and i could warming up for all these artists.In 2004 had an invitation from Zvezda Beta to play at Ablak A Dubra in Budapest and one year later to team up the Hairy Crew.From here on i played most of Budapest’s and other big city’s music clubs,and played along side the “best” hungarian techno-house dj’s,and years later also with international artists also.Constant performer of the biggest festival’s in Hungary and have an own residency with my old mate and dj colleague Roocha at Aether Club in Budapest.Im very proud that from 2014 joining Ozora festival as an artist too.

For 2020’s first Lost Minute invited the talented V ka from Russia to record an exclusive podcast. She will also be their special guest on the next clubnight in TOLDI Budapest.

Moreover, this 14th show will exceptionally feature two additional podcasts as well: one from Peter Hyde from the DAIDAI collective and a vinyl-only deep/atmospheric/technoselection from Miska aka Dorogi Miki from the Obsolar crew.

V Ka (Vika) is a representative of the new wave of electronic music.
V ka has an ability to make uniform compilation for her sets from the warm sounds of the micro and minimal house to oldschool electro and broken beats using vinyl and digital holders.
At the moment V ka is one of the artist Inside Ag (Russia) and regular guest Better be nice (Austria)
Rapidly gaining popularity over past several years V ka made a major breakthrough in her career by travelling with her music in Russia, Germany, Sweden, China, India, Austria, Hungary, Romania.
Her talent could not unnoticed by the promoters. And In 2018 she took part in Sven Vath’s world tour in Vienna (Austria).
You could hear her on RTS.FM (Budapest), RTS.FM (Berlin), FM4 (Austria), FeederRo (Romania), Moodytech radio (Romania), Mondobongo radio (Greece), FLAT FM (Russia), Better Be Nice afterhours (Austria) and etc.
For V ka it’s very important to make people feel what she wants to convey them. Each of her sets is a new story with deep emotional overtones.

Coming your way is the August episode of Lost Minute series with guest mixes by DRISAN and VIKTOR UDVARI.

Drısan recorded this exclusive radiOzora mix ahead of his debut at LÄRM Budapest alongside DJ Naga & Peter Bernath and the Lost Minute crew on 29th August 2020.
Drisan collects and mix music for 20+ years now.
Ever since, he played many gigs in both Hungary, the United Kingdom and Ireland alongside Rennie Pilgrem (TCR), the Hairy Recordings Crew for Ablak-A-Dubra Nights at Cha-Cha-Cha Terasz (2007) and Instant (2008), member of the London based Askarabaskara Crew, came runner up at Steve Lawler’s Harlem Nights (ViVAMusicLabel) DJ competition, won people’s vote at the Antarctic Rhythms remix contest organised by DJ Spooky (The Subliminal Kid) in 2013.
Recently he returned to Hungary from London and recorded guest mixes for Tilos Radio shows 'Ablak-A-Dubra' and 'Plug & Lay' over the past year.
Released some of his productions digitally on Moira Audio Recordings (HU) and Dub Communication (NL) in 2019 and he is currently finishing up his dissertation to explore what motivates us techno/house DJs to still buy many of our music on vinyl records in the digital age…
