Jeremie Kagan is a 24 years old producer from Nantes, a nice city on the french west coast. Known for his Forest Psytrance Live launched in 2014, he decided more recently to start self-production to share with us his own vision of hypnotic techno.
From melancholic atmospheres to hypnotic and mental grooves, his music invites us to an introspective journey through psychedelic and ambient notes.

Among many crazy and funny things I said (and did) this summer, one sentence glued to my mind: 

LIFE IS A WONDERFUL THING TO WASTE! 

I meant this in a sense of "how much of ourselves are we willingly suffocating to maintain the image THEY have imposed on us so that we can develop, progress and move freely?" Life's too short to maintain that image. Live your life the way you want. Your life is only yours, and if it makes you happy to "waste it", well it's yours to waste!

After five or six years I played (almost only) a deep techno set at The Swamp, Mo:Dem Festival. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.

In my process of overthinking I labeled my style of (writing and) DJ-ing as BRICOLAGE /ˌbrɪkəˈlɑːʒ/. In the arts, bricolage (French for DIY or do-it-yourself) is "the construction or creation of a work from a diverse range of things that happen to be available, or a work constructed using mixed media." This definition fully and realistically corresponds to what I'm creating, whether it is a text or a DJ set. This definition also fits my punk philosophy and aesthetics.

It was an instant fan and artist favourite, and has been revisited a couple of times since with remixes spread across our VA compilations.  So it is with great pleasure that we are able to put together this epic remix-centric release, featuring the aforementioned tracks in addition to 4 freshly curated reworks from our roster.

With Luis M and Ash Roy returning with their impeccable renditions, we also have brand new compelling and dynamic remixes from Sandokan, L-Xir, Jedidiah and Unicorn Hunters! We hope you enjoy this one, and all always, dive in deep (under)!
