Eric gets straight to the point with the title-track, where we find him rolling out the percussion and bringing in classy, evolving synths over a rubber-band bassline; another testament to Eric's clever production skills, leaving ample room for each element to breathe. 'The Timeless' is a moody groover, with a persistent rhythm section being dominated by sonar-esque leads and samples mangled beyond recognition, giving a firm nod to the tribal side of things.

Singh and DJ Kyoko had a regular place on Monika Kruse's stick and she was even happier when she received this demo EP from the duo. The big hype about this release began when Monika dropped the title track 'Chanted' in her boiler room set last summer and it became bigger and bigger since then.

Demuir has provided electronic music an astounding set of releases on high profile labels in 2019 including Hot Creations, Desolat, and Origins representing Demuir’s dynamic range of diversity that continues here.

First up is “To Be A Star” featuring Phil Weeks. The track’s vocal takes center stage here whilst sitting comfortably on a heavy and mesmerizing bassline with backing support from thumping beats and intelligent Jackin’ snare work that defines Chicago Jacking House. The track also embeds a seemingly emotional set of chord stabs that help emphasize the irony in the vocal’s subject. A state-of-a-union like address that all those involved in electronic music can connect with and understand.

Next is “Pretty Looks” a track Demuir describes as “Exceptionally RAW” in everything it presents from the cutting snares, thunderous kick, and the tricked out Fender Rhodes loop punched up with a memorable bassline and vocal audiences are sure to enjoy. The vocal taunts the listener with “That’s It” and “...look pretty for the PIC-CHURRRRE!”

The EP moves into a Hip Hop inspired Tech House trip in “Just Ain’t Good Enough”. The vocals pack a battle-esque punch with every word while the 808 subby bassline loops throughout and easily feeling like a conversation being had. The drums take special notice here as they are absent of the typically subscribed Tech House sounds making rounds in today’s music - thus allowing this one to stand out.

Here one of the most epics nights of the Arrival stage at Playground, Burning Man 2019. Right after the man was burned, Carl and Joseph played for the second consecutive year a B2B set that was absolutely amazing. This was our time to celebrate the amazing week we had at Black Rock City. When you listen, you become a part of Playground, too.

Loose Records enters the field once again with an exceptional product, in fact, the historical founder Rino Cerrone throws in a producer of our local school, Mars Bill, who is already known for his earlier works on labels such as MKT, Driving Forces, Respekt and Loose Records itself.
Mars Bill therefore gives birth to a four-tracks project composed by two Original Mix and two Remix by Kalden Bess and the duo On / Off. The first one is already a recognized producer in the music scene thanks to his numerous projects released by labels such as Analytic Trail, Blindspot, 1605, MB Elektronics and many others. The Dutch duo On / Off is very well known on the Neapolitan scene for having recorded a very successful EP with Analytic Trail, as well as famous in Europe for their previous works on labels such as 8 Sided Dice, Gem Records, Driving Forces and more.
"Obey" is a pure underground style track, where properly fit percussions intersect on a deep drum and bass lines envelop the frantic rhythm of the beat-in pure Techno style.
Kalden Bess remixes "Obey" with a really excellent remake, built in an articulate way where the Synth sweeps on circling bass and the track is sped up by an upbeat Hi Hats session, all finished by the dark touch of the remixer.
"Panic Room" is the second original mix of the EP, consisting of fluid sounds and rhythmic groovy, where low frequencies aggressively affect the beat. The drum is deep and wide at the same time, Technoid sounds take over and everything explodes in a never-ending crescendo of effects and textbook tricks.
On / Off remix "Panic Room" keeping the track always at the top of its performance, sinuous shades form a spatial beat. An elastic drum and an overwhelming bass compose a fully inserted rhythmic, where the Synth echoes in the air dispersing Techno energy at the highest levels.
Loose has scored another big hit; avant-garde sounds and sublime producers!!
