There is no thing as ‘The Night’.
There are simply only two days trying to claim the crown 
over which one has extracted the most from the other.
The Night is such a strong yet strange human made concept. 
We dive into it and we come out of it. Every 24 hours.
And one of those, we call golden hour.
Quite literally everything shines as bright as shattering silver and burning sun.
This mix is an hommage to the sunset and the sunrise, equally important, equally beautiful
and reminds me specifically of a sunset moment in France, where at Kamiwaza festival the sun was setting so incredibly glowy that the whole crowd went uphill to watch it in full glory
and surrender to its wide rays of sunlight.

Once a month, a group of amphibian friends gather on their beloved lily pad sharing stories of their adventures beyond the pond. These stories involve lively dance floors in distant waters, searching for the best selectors playing aquatic tunes. So if you’re ready for a unique blend of frog tales and ribbiting rhythms, tune in and let these pondside adventures captivate you. Croaking and ribbiting sounds in the form of electro, minimal, French house, and anything in between.

A much-anticipated milestone in W's blossoming catalog, we proudly unveil our first V/A compilation, Diptyque: our panoramic compendium of 12 original creations that traverse seamlessly across borderlines, featuring captivating works by Ander Race & HOMIEZ, Leo Som, Andrew Sar, Charlie Holmen, Vaderat x Matias Bordon x Octavio Gimenez, Mike Lang, Antonio Gaudini, Flaor & Bohdvn, Far From Home, and Maribella x Ghem x Jeaneiffel.

Diving off the deep end, Diptyque welcomes us with Ander Race & HOMIEZ's "Can't Get Enough", a throbbing piece that blends dubbed out stabs with classic house chords for an electrifying entrance that sets the bar for the rest of the record. Following up, Leo Som steps up to the fore with "Mascara". A masterclass in tension, our second cut expertly bides its time, as delayed sequences interlock with swelling strings for an enthralling delivery.

Proceedings continue with Andrew Sar's "Heaven". Signaling a swift return from Sar to W, this cavernous take that balances meandering blips with piano stabs and chopped vocals over a slithering low end as mesmerizing shapes come alive in spellbinding alchemy. Next up, Charlie Holmen's "Cant Make You" goes deeper as lush vocals anchor this gem firmly into our souls with emotional finesse.

Coming up on the halfway mark, Vaderat, Matias Bordon & Octavio Gimenez come together for another collaboration in "Away", featuring Desiree Nemcik. Grounded by Nemcik's pristine topline, this gorgeous cut finds the production trio delivering a sultry moment as melodic embers draw arresting swirls in a gripping act of creation. Meanwhile, Mike Lang and Richard Farrell "Go With The Flow" as this Afro-laced cut works its primal magic with Farrell's irresistible vocals and crystal-clear melody drifting into the sundown.

This first installment of Diptyque continues with Antonio Gaudini as he treads over twilight with "Love & Lie", a phenomenal exercise in contrasts as a powerful low-end pulse propels us across a velvet blanket that engulfs us in its warm embrace. Uping the ante, Flaor & Bohdvn's  "Obelisk" presents us with an electric surge as restless synthetic sequences lead washed-out vocals over rising stabs and clipped drum programming for a hypnotic moment.

Closing in on the last curve, Far From Home's "Crescendo" ventures into the battlefield with a bold stance as swelling synthetics wash over us before gated explosions in the sky take us higher with each burst of color. Next, Maribella, Ghem, and Jeaneiffel take it away with "Blue Clouds." Polished, yet brimming with life, pulsating baselines and dotted synths glide over strings, leading to a delectable break in the clouds 

Venturing closer to the sun, Om Lila's "Formentor" marks the beginning of our turnaround with its immersive, retro-laced vibes, shimmering stabs, and unmistakable warmth. A truly arresting view for our comedown, this piece is the perfect soundtrack as we watch colors collapse into each other. On our final escapade, Eykah's sultry "Ngoma Ya Afrika" feels like the perfect homecoming as soulful vocals burrow deep inside this Afro-inspired masterpiece that bridges past and present for a dazzling today.
