 is a singer, songwriter and visual artist from Portugal that integrates both ancestral and electronic sounds creating her own unique universe. A weaver of melodies that invites you to connect with your own tapestry by being present and expressing truth freely. 

Since 2018 Meta has taken part in Festivals/Concerts like Bons Sons, TedxPorto, SofarSounds as well as Festival da Canção 2019 ( Eurovision Portuguese Song Contest) in which she was a finalist with original composition/interpretation. In 2019 she released her debut EP "Mónada". In 2020 Meta did her first European Tour in collaboration with Chau and support from Fundação GDA and won the award for “Best Musical Project” in Festival Emergente, with which she will record her first album in 2021.

This song represents the moment we can no longer escape from the awakening. The moment we
have to inevitably choose our purpose and sprout.
It’s our nature and our time to choose to give our gifts back to the world and to realize each one of
us is the seed of light that humanity and the earth needs.
The realization that the resistance of staying in what we are accustomed to brings more hurt than
benefit and like the seed, we have to crack open in the unknown to see the light and be the light.
We are the seed, we are the earth, we are the skin of which the earth also breathes.

This compilation is growing a forest. One tree at a time.
Each Euro spent on this compilation will fund a tree that will be planted in Portugal by "Primal Gathering".

The second edition of IN SPIRIT Holistic Music Production Retreat took place at Aterra in Portugal in the summer of 2019. Aspiring artists, passionate musicians, and experienced music producers met with the mutual intention to learn about music production, co-create music and reconnect with their essence by surrounding themselves with beautiful nature and listening deep within through meditation, breathwork, and sacred rituals. You can experience the result of this deeply transformative, inspirational, and healing journey AND directly support your Mother Earth with this compilation. Since we have received countless blessings from the sacred lands of Portugal we are grateful for the opportunity to give something back. All the income from the compilation will be donated to fund an organization that is planting trees. For every single Euro that you spent, 1 tree in Portugal will be planted by our friends from Primal Gathering.
