Grandaddy Callin

A fun song played around my friends the last year.  The recording was done in one take I think, maybe a restart.  I had never recorded the song with words or even thought of the words until the recorder was running.   When it started it was another song improv like I do all the time but never record, this is the first of hopefully many that I do record.  I am comfortable with this genre and enjoy it, I hope you do too.

Classical music stuttering so random bird song is formalized into the realm of classical.  Well you know how it is, you get an idea and record it.

raelx2013/The Day We Met (NEW WORK IN PROGRESS) SolarDonut2015 Artists Collaboration Album Two artists who like to work in different genres, media, styles and fusion of all the above. Our music roots go back to White Hall, and so this is where the title comes from TheDayWeMet, I believe it was 1974, synthesizers and sound experiments with spoons in glasses of water and other projects started in 1973 I believe.. We hope you enjoy.   We  have been doing sound from that time forward, most of the work you see here only represents the past 5 years or so and some of a group  FTE (Floating Texture Ensemble) from the mid 80's may be on here every once in a while.  Truly has been a wonderful part of our lives all these years and I believe we are both grateful for it.  I usually intrude and stay with Colin and Lisa a month or two every year the last few years as we continue to make music.
