I was sitting at the edge of the farm cabin my family owns as it rained and the levels of the river down south rose at steady rates.  The river down south was full of water, constantly growing. Droplets pored into it just as ideas pour into the mind of an introvert. The collection grows in size, gets richer and eventually, on some destined day, the river's banks give way and everything pours out. For better or worse.

I see people have this gigantic group of friends, all sharing the "we'll laugh together, and we'll cry together" form of expression. And then I see these really small sets of friends who support each other, however, don't go bat-shit crazy. I've been through both the phases. Chances are, in these gigantic groups, 80% of the group hates each other. Now y'all know why sets is the way to go, innit? But then, there's sets of people who portray being close just to not have to portray absolutely hating each other to the people, to the society. Life is messed up and friendship is complicated. Y'all know what, though? Music is a constant everywhere.

Don't we all have those places on Earth that we could die for? Those places and those situations, to be precise? The ones that make us feel content, satisfied and (although I wouldn't go as far, but) happy even for a short period of time? For me, my bedroom with my Mac playing my beats with the sun going down and the window going (lilac or) mauve from it describes "that place" and "that situation." How would you describe the situation of happy depression for yourself?

I believe that the best stories are narrated through music. Here's one:

"The calm before the storm," they whispered, "always constitutes of happiness." To me, at that time, what was said sounded very stupid. However now, after a dozen and a half candles going up on the cake next year, I understand. I understand that life is not a measurable quantity if you measure it up with only the constants. Nothing is constant- neither the moments that bring you joy, nor the tough, sadder ones. It's a ride, a journey consisting of peculiar adventures masked as experiences. This "mixtape" that I'm going to upload to this channel over the course of a couple of days tells a story. "loner." is the beginning of the series of events that lead to the finale of "urbanNoir."

An offering can be both good and bad- its arrival being the deciding factor along-with the circumstances of the receiver's being. We tend to take the easiest - and quickest way out of any and every situation we face, and people making "bad" offerings, or offerings that are more "in their favour" than yours understand that. A "chance" introduces gamble, which is exactly why the people trying to manipulate their way into other people's lives using these "offerings" shy away from chances. You'd rather manipulate your way using an ultimatum, making the other person feel like they have no choice, avoiding placing it all on a chance, a gamble.

There's phases in everyone's life, to be honest. And a lot of those phases are commenced (and often ended) by the indulgence of certain people. This track happens to be placed at the marker of the beginning of a phase that most of "urbanNoir" consists of. This one's for the therapist. We also just happen to be learning about security honeytraps at school.
