Christopher Sondheim once expressed his wish and said  “If I cannot fly, let me sing.”, to Rae those words are gold.  Based in Bombay, India, Rae has always been drawn to Western Music and is inspired by artists like Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and Julia Michaels.
She began songwriting at the age of 17 but her voice and songwriting roam far beyond her years, in its emotion and passion.  
With songs such as “Back In Time”, narrating the story of a love lost at the hands of time and how she wishes she could turn it back; while “Friends”, deals with a lie that modern day  friendships have become.  
Her first 4 debut singles have garnered more than 40,000 streams on Spotify and have been supported and liked by the Chainsmokers and have been placed with well known artists like Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, John Legend, The Chainsmokers, and Lauv, gathering a fanbase of 29,000 listeners within 2 months of their release. She now, also hosts heart own radio on iHeartRadio making her one of the youngest artists from India to do so.  
Her debut album “Faith” which released this August, written entirely by Valentine, expands on the Pop, Dance & RnB style of her work, and features lyrical themes of passion, romance, and heartbreak
