Very kindly recorded live on the night by @mucaromusic and given some mastering love by @alignrepeat, this is my opening set from the 2nd room at Vent for Mind Off. I really wanted to dig out lots of old deep and warm sounding records for this set and slowly build as people ventured into the room, so I spent a lot of time trying to pack my record bag with old favourites and others I've hardly played since getting them 10+ years ago! Those that have seen me play a lot in Manchester will likely recognise the odd 'Slagbat classic' in there so hopefully that'll bring back some good/questionable memories too. So pour yourself a brandy, turn on your lava lamp(s) and get come take a dip in the deep end.

Recorded on Halloween at Community Cafe (part of the ∄ crew), this is a slice from our 4-hour vinyl-only set. The ongoing war realities in Kyiv meant the power went out on us twice, so the recording stops right as we were transitioning from a slow-burning warm-up into a more energetic phase.

A fitting ending, maybe: a narrative frozen in its warm-up chapter, built on calm, minimal, dubby, and deep selections.

Here it is, ready and served: my classic musical farewell to each year. This set was originally broadcast on my colleague DJOU's show, A Long Strange Dream, on Radio Plato. Unfortunately, Radio Plato was unfairly censored by the Belarusian authorities, so I took it upon myself to honor him and release the set as Au Revoir 2025. 

Thanks to Radio Plato and DJOU for their broadcasts and for supporting the global underground scene. It was my honor to have participated three times.
