Brazilian Bruno Furlan returns to Hot Creations once again with his ‘La Fiesta’ EP, featuring two  scorching house tracks.  

One of Brazil’s leading house artists, Bruno Furlan continues to build a dedicated following across the globe, with  his current US tour welcoming memorable performances at Club Space in Miami to Club Vinyl in Denver. His return  to Hot Creations comes following the success of his ‘Bongoloco’ EP on the label to open 2023, alongside a slew  of other releases on the likes of DIRTYBIRD, Club Sweat, Fool’s Gold Records, and his very own Track ID imprint.  Delivering two fresh cuts for his fourth outing on Jamie Jones & Lee Foss’ renowned label, Furlan showcases his  growing sound once more here with ‘La Fiesta’. 

“La Fiesta" is the perfect definition of me and my personality. Since being inspired in so many ways, I  decided to combine a lot of influences in it, especially Brazilian ones. Not to forget to mention that classic  90's tunes are the ones that still make me feel inspired day to day. These tunes also give me the flow and  energy to create new ideas. 

 "Give Me That Bass” I must say this one is one of my favourite tunes of all time. I can still remember the  moments when I was producing this track, I couldn't stop moving, I was just vibing and dancing to it in the  studio. I tried to perfectly blend my fat basslines with vocals, fx’s and other elements in a mix of a sound  from the classic times to something new.” - Bruno Furlan. 

Leading with a spicy fusion of rattling percussions and vibrant bongo drums, the title track ‘La Fiesta’ ignites a  Dancefloor frenzy, honouring his roots through rich, pounding beats and impassioned vocals. Next up ‘Give Me  That Bass’ is another production built with main stage energy, bringing punchy stabs and alluring calls to get  people locked into the groove.

Presenting their third release of the year, Da Luka’s roku welcomes Mazayr to the label for his debut EP. Manchester based producer Mazayr has been experimenting with electronic music for well over a decade. As a drummer in his youth, Mazayr's love for rhythm and groove eventually found its way into electronic music. After years of perfecting his craft the UK artist made his debut in 2021 with ‘Pipe Dreaming’, a release via Bulgarian imprint Magic Moment. Mazayr's emotive musicality and exotic, dance floor friendly grooves then caught the attention of Canopy Sounds, Musique de Lune, One Of A Kind, Stellar Fountain, The Purr and more, all of which have served as landing spots for his transcendent sound going forward. Also an accomplished DJ, Mazayr has frequented various venues across Manchester, including Pangaea Festival and the infamous Sankeys nightclub. In 2019, he began hosting events and a mix series under the Right Frequency banner to showcase melodic house music. 2024 has proved to be his most prolific production year to date, with four projects recorded across the first four months of the year. Now, fresh off a remix for JFR’s Secret Feelings imprint, a release which highlighted a strong spring season, Mazayr adds roku to his resume with a three-track showcase ‘Without Permission’.

The EP's title selection ‘Without Permission’' sets the pace and lands with many of Mazayr’'s beloved production hallmarks. Tight kick drums and neatly manicured percussion provide a DJ friendly intro, as chunky bass tones and vocal fragments add rhythm and character. Cruising effortlessly across the first act, it's a set of striking chord stabs which pushes energy into the main break. Mazayr's elusive vision shines during the interlude, as he maintains a balance of restraint and tension that astute dancefloor’s will appreciate, before smoothly shifting gears into a grooved-out finale.

Marco Fracasso, one half of Italian production crew MindTech (featured on the Salvatore Agrosi “Spirit EP“ available on Deeper Shades Recordings), delivers his first solo project. His afro tech production "Xiba Chant" is entwined with deepness and edge built around a catchy African chant, hypnotic percussive beats and signature MindTech stabs.

The “Main Mix” brings all the elements together in a hedonistic entrancing dancer’s workout that builds and then explodes in the second half while the “Deeper Rub” strips it all down and is essential as a DJ tool with a dramatic break.

Much like on Salvatore's solo release, MindTech join forces to create an ancestral, deeper tech, stab laden version with their MindTech Solar Remix.

Lars Behrenroth, with his 11 minute re-interpretation, creates tension in the dub mix with a swirling, filtering pad line and driving, percussive groove which builds and layers throughout, and deceptively locks you in, taking you on a journey through his mind.

Concluding this release, Jojoflores has taken his favorite parts of Lars Behrenroth's Dub Mix and molded a re-edit aimed solely for the dancefloor.
