Every year, as the city bids farewell to the grey skies and ice-cold winds of winter, making way for the spring blossom and heatwaves of summer, Kreuzberg's many parks spring to life, with Berliners gathering even on the smallest green spaces to enjoy the sunshine and each other's company. Situated just a stone's throw from Admiralbrücke, Wrangelbrunnen is one of these beloved spots – an impressive late-classical fountain originally built in Tiergarten 150 years ago, which was then moved to Graefekiez, where it now unites the young and old looking for shade and water as temperatures rise. 

As always, music is the common denominator here and Oliver Koletzki delivers the perfect soundtrack with this new release, while Chrisse Kunst renders the visuals.

On remix duties we welcome the amazing German / South African duo LADS for their MNL debut. They take the title track in a mystique and mysterious direction and instantly show why they are one of the hot names to watch at the moment. Not that they have to prove themselves anymore; their releases on Lost & Found, Rebellion de Träumer, Nie Wieder Schlafen and Magician on Duty pretty much speak for themselves.

For our 49th offering we welcome Boh Oh Boy, Hobin Rude and Liam Garcia who take on remixing duties for Cavemen’s ‘Tied’ EP.
  
Hailing from Germany and France, Boy oh Boy’s mix of dance floor friendly tech and underground house music has earned them spots at supporting Djuma Soundsystem (NO), Uone (AU) and releases on Get Physical Music and Poesie Music.

They offer their take on the title track of the EP, ‘Tied’. A brooding bassline that drives the remix, along with upbeat drum work and synth leads, giving it a dark and melodic feel. The remix is filled with chopped samples and detuned automations that provide impact throughout.

Next up we have Hobin Rude, the Serbian progressive house DJ / Music Producer based in Belgrade. He has released on labels such as Balkan Connection, One of A Kind and Soundteller to name a few.
His ‘Tsjalina’ remix is uplifting and playful with a hypnotic groove that is made for the dancefloor. The lush arps and pads in the break makes it a perfect track for anytime of the day. Ending off the EP is Liam Garcia with his Voodoo Remix of ‘Witch Doctor’.

Liam Garcia currently resides and grew up in Scotland, where he acquired his love for house music through long nights spent at the infamous Arches in Glasgow and underground haven, Snafu, in his hometown of Aberdeen.

Liam Garcia gives the track a club orientated feel with a dark driving bass line. The ambient dub-like synths and effects will take you on a 4 am journey into the abyss.

'Far Away Place' is Xinobi’s forthcoming single that anticipates his new album to be released on 24th of March. This track echoes 90s Deep House peppered with Pop sensibility. The tracks swoons with layers of texture; delicate female vocals, cascading water soundscapes, drum machines, and light synths. 
The core of the track is the hypnotic Techno loop that Bruno Cardoso (Xinobi) masterfully crafts. 
'Far Away Place' exists in a space between Pop, Ambient, House and Techno, yet successfully translates as an elegant radio ready track. There is something undeniably upbeat about the track. Living up to its title, the track gives you the optimistic feeling of driving down the California coast, off towards far away destinations.

We welcome this summer heater which is “Gilli 88 EP”. A tribute to the 80s phenomenon...THE PANINARO. Without any ideological basis or connection to a particular lifestyle THE PANINARO was based around fashion imagery and luxurious clothing. Enzo found this translatable to today’s social network dynamics and is prime for the retrofuturistic dancefloors of today that are inspired by the golden days of Italo-Disco.

“Low Red” is a Italo-Pop gem conceived with Aldebaran and Quique on vocals that takes inspiration from the legends that were – the mighty Suicide. An instrumental version dives deeper into the groove for DJ play persuasion. “Aj Squinza” takes a classic 80’s disco approach with sound-scaping synths that endlessly jam with an everchanging rhythm. “Volpinata” succumbs to a classic EBM groove that finds its way out of focus due to fat synth melodies that engorge this elevating track.
