Rafael Munoz - JAM RTBF NYE 2023

I'm happy to share with you my (almost) 3 hour set recorded at Tunnel Pereira in Colombia in February 2023.

I played the closing slot from 6am to 9am, from sunrise to full daylight, surrounded by crazy people and the beautiful colombian nature. The experience was absolutely mind boggling!

I never felt so free to play what I want and explore ideas.

Technically the set is far from being perfect. The pitch of one of the turntables was moving constantly and randomly a few tenth of a percent up and down and one of the filter knob of this old DJM was offset.
So you'll hear unwanted extreme filtering, frequent beat shifting and rough transitions.

Despite the technical challenge, it was probably my best experience as a musician.

From now on Radiance will donate both to Ukraine and to Palestine relief funds. We believe it's important to stay active in this world and this is a charity label for all just causes.

This release is special to us, as it is our 10th VA. We are incredibly happy with the support we have gotten since we started this project. We want to thank all artists who has released on our label, and all people who supported our music. We are in this together.

Radiance is a charity project, all proceeds will be donated to Ukraine and Palestinian relief funds, and for this 10th VA we will be donating a percentage to the Georgian protestors currently fighting in Tbilisi. Thank you for your support.

Here's the live recording of my opening set at Elektronik Zoo open air in Kortenaken, Belgium. 

Sunday mid-afternoon, a hot and sunny day.

This set was the occasion to do something different and focus on dub techno & deep techno and play tracks that I don't have the opportunity to play very often.

It was super inspiring to share the lineup with two personal legends, Marco Bailey & Jeff Mills
