We are delighted to guest a legend figure in our country Colombia and our city Bogotá, BLUEKIM! She started her career as a DJ in 1998. After exploring different music styles she was led to the genre which defines her today: techno. After 3 years of being on the decks at several parties and clubs around Colombia, she traveled to Sydney, Australia, what meant a radical change on her music and artistic ideas. At the end of the year 2001, she participated on "Bedroom Bangers", an important DJ competition made once a year by the electronic music newspaper of Sydney, 3D World. She won the 2nd place among 200 contestants. She came back to Colombia, this time with a stronger musical style based on melodic, strong synths with vocals and robot sounds of 80's EBM and Industrial. A couple of years after, she became part of the very well
known techno crew Techsound (2004 - 2009) and she was part of the organization and production of a long amount of important parties and events with local and international Dj’s and artists.  Her sets are unpredictable, full of energy, and are known by her strong mixing skills and her constant experimentation: a lot of industrial techno, EBM, electro techno, but above all, a great passion for machines,
synthetic, dark and deep sounds. She has played not only in all Colombia’s main cities but in other countries like Venezuela (Maracaibo, Mérida, Valencia), USA (New York, Los Angeles), Ecuador (Quito),
Australia (Sydney), and she has got the opportunity to share decks with many well known international Dj’s and artists. During year 2012 she had her first tour in Europe and she played with well known techno artists in Germany (Berlin), France (Burdeaux) and Bulgaria (Sofia). She’s also been headline Dj of underground oldschool parties like Beat 64, Mutaxion, Pink, Bogotrax, Airbag, FritoLay, Hardcodelia, Reconexión, etc, and she’s had residencies at legendary clubs of Bogota like Las Vírgenes, La Sala and Cinema, among others. Right now she is working on her first musical productions and with this podcast we are happy to guest a new member of the THC Family second female power in the collective!

We are glad to welcome the mighty Sleeparchive to our family. The Berliner gives us two original tracks plus two remixes by label boss Oscar Mulero. 
"Window 057" is an arpeggiated tool made of a crazy synth sequence, shuffled hats and subtle kick drums in a constantly moving structure.
"Window 092" starts with a massive bass drum accompanied by synthetic bleeps and noises that soon are joined by repetitive sequences carrying the flow.
Oscar Mulero's remix for "Window 057" is a cleaner approach to the original, less shuffled on the rhythms but with a lot more movement on the arpeggiated synth lines.
The "Window 092" remake slows down the pressure on behalf of a more liquid approach on the drums, and is more reverberated and deep. Oscar adds more percussive elements and puts the bleeps away using the main sequence as the centre of the arrangement

He has been working on his sound for 10 years, and currently it is possible to observe the evolution and professionalism acquired through the years. He has had the opportunity to share a booth with international artists such as Eduardo de la Calle, Floriand Meindl, Fabio Florido and a number of renowned local artists in different clubs in the city such as Sonorama, Salon Amador, Club 1984 among others. Today he works with Al3 Movement being part of the label not only as an artist but also as part of the working group that keeps the label running. He is also part of the Refluxed Records label of the distinguished dj / producer Andres Gil.

Lleva 10 años trabajando en su sonido, y actualmente se logra observar la evolución y el profesionalismo adquirido a través de los años. The confines of contemporary music often ensnare a musician in a particular sound. Wrapped up in a box that defines and sells the 'product', that it's easier to digest for the modern consumer. It operates on a plane where it is assimilated in tiny soundbites that are quickly digested and moved on. Sound can get lost amongst trying to 'make it' or get likes. Music is not lost though; it exists as it always has and the passion for composing transcendent and transportive tracks exists in an artist like Raffaele Attanasio.

Born to a musician father in his home city of Naples, Attanasio was only satiated when listening to virtuoso maestros like Il Guardiano del Faro and Keith Emerson. Developing his prodigious ear, he trained on drums and then piano and his auspicious ability become apparent early. In his late teens, he ventured into DJing and electronic music production and has garnered plaudits from Jeff Mills, Len Faki and Ben Sims; even performing with Mills in a B2B live set and also Octave One. He found a home within the electronic music community, heading his own label Letter From Jerusalem, and releasing on others, such as Third Wave Black and Non Series. His label even released music from Douglas McCarthy of the band Nitzer Ebb.

What has never been lost on Attanasio is his eclectic flair. His releases span from nefarious techno - even releasing under his X-501 alias - to riveting Detroit inspired dance music with soulful piano. That piano may encapsulate a sound not many may equate to the Italian, but he now threads down a course that garners influences from his native Naples and musicians like Keith Jarret Duke Ellington and even Hans Zimmer. His artistic mould is shaped from by his experiences, and these are laid bare in his jazz-tinged sound on his album Nuovo Futuro, which was released on Axis records. Kaleidoscopic in his quenching of musical thirst, Attanasio keeps music in its purest form. These melodic air vibrations evoke something opaque, yet wildly pulchritudinous, regardless of the audience.
