Lights On The Horizon - revisited

Hi my name is Raffaele, 

I am Composer/Pianist and Producer, I am Italian and I have lived in New York for many years.

My passion and attitude for music emerged spontaneously when I was eight years old and I would prefer to surround myself with musical instrument toys rather than the other toys typical of my age. When I was fourteen, I was finally able to get a real piano that I located in a waterfront room where I started composing my first melodies.

I was captured by the charm in every musical expression able to drive emotions believing that, although the musical genres can be very far apart from each other, in the end the “essence” and the “strength” of the music they are expression of, are unique and unchangeable.

During the years I found myself spacing among different music genres and producing music with the collaboration of many international artists using the alias Moon Rocket.

Here I want to go back to the start, the piano as the center stage and melodies as pure expression of the inner and sometimes hidden part of my “Ego”.

A glimpse of a landscape, the closeness with nature, an event or just the observation of the world we live in, all those things generate emotions and considerations that once translated into musical notes vibrating in the air make us dream, meditate and let us rediscover that fleeing sensation of peace and beauty that comforts and reassures us.
