Drumming showcase (sala prove)

Primi esperimenti con lo Zoom H6 + 4 microfoni per batteria scarsissimi (dal mio kit low-budget Samson SADK5). Tamburi non miei, scordati, e di batterie diverse. Pelle risonante cassa e pelle battente timpano rotte. Cassa senza muffling. Tutto improvvisato e impreciso. Ma si registra lo stesso! :D

Gearshift

"Higher Ground" by Stevie Wonder, original cover by Dave Weckl from his album "Convergence".
"Minus drums" track, with me playing drums over it.
Everything has been played and recorded on low budget gear (except for cymbals and the Zoom H6 recorder): mixed drum shells, worn heads, broken kick front head, Samson SADK5 low-end drum mics.
Mixed by myself on PC.

AUDIO: Zoom H6, microfono XY, impostazioni standard. EQ e riverbero con Audacity. Registrazione... in salotto!

Il pezzo è "Juicy" dei Leslie Overdrive. 
Chi suona qui è il Kollettivo Stesi (facebook.com/KollettivoStesi), dove sono batterista. 
Le registrazioni sono del 2009, anno del nostro demo "Move on funk" dove è incluso questo brano. 
Questo è il mio primo remix, così ho fatto un po' di pratica con Ableton e mi sono goduto i nuovi monitor M-Audio DSM1.

Seventh hint

A quick and dirty experiment, made in a couple of nights starting from the other two projects and mixing up the samples and the instruments.
Today i find it interesting from the middle till the end, while i consider the first half is quite boring.

Today it sounds completely outdated, but I always like the amarcord-effect for myself. :-P
